â âI suppose that is true. In the grand total times I have watched you, the amount of times you were watching Nemuri-san in turn, was smaller. Though, it still was not a negligable amount of times.â He argues.
But, so he thinks, he has good reason to watch Akon, since he is a better scientist than he is, and he is still learning, in order to best serve Kurotsuchi-taichou. So, if he happened to pick up on something he shouldnât have, Akon could just tell him..
He shrugs. âIs it a bad thing to watch her?â Yon was just curious why, he had no opinion on whether it was good, bad, or weird. But Akonâs reaction almost made him think it must not be good.
akonâs worked with his captain for a century now. kurotsuchi-taicho doesnât oversee his work nor does he care how the horned scientist acts. heâs not used to scrutiny like this. especially on some imagined behaviourââwhich is decidedly not one of his fields of expertise. still, his voice is gruff when he responds. âif yer wanna figure ouâ people interactinâ, go find some'n else.â the scientist has absolutely no desire to be some study project of yonâs. why he watches their lieutenant is nobodyâs business but his own and he plans to keep it that way. end of story.
--- "Well, it's not 'people' I'm interested in.. It's my co-workers. Which means I cannot simply observe anyone." He was interested in Akon's relationships with Nemuri and Kurotsuchi-taichou. Not in the least because Yon.. Didn't know how he fit in. Akon seemed.. More like a son to Kurotsuchi sometimes than he himself did, and yet only Nemu had gotten the title of 'daughter'. Neither he or Akon got that privilege.
Yon thought perhaps Akon and he were in the same boat.. Maybe he also didn't like Nemuri as much..
Given Akon's reaction, though, he must have made a misstep somewhere, so he bowed lightly. "I'm sorry if I've been a bother.." He does not want Akon to dislike him, he still needs to observe and learn from him.
