The thing I love about the sex in Heated Rivalry is how natural and innocent it feels. Like, these are just two sweet, fumbling, open-hearted boys who want each other and are making each other feel good. It is incredible how sweet it feels. It's wonderful how clear the sex is -- how you always know exactly what is happening, and it feels real and vulnerable, but it's never, ever skeezy, exploitative or gratuitous. It furthers the narrative, tells the story, develops character, and just feels absolutely clean and pure.
And, on top of all that, it also does not explain itself. It just leaves the viewer space to empathize. It asks that of us, as viewers.
