I can’t deny it’s nice having those around for the memories, I can understand that. If you’re looking to free up space in your closet, at least with the journal, you won’t lose the memories at all! Or like you said before, you could always hand them off to a friend or put them in storage and see how you do without them. it may not be as worrisome as you fear. Exactly, and the less time spent cleaning, the better. Just wish I could do that in the kitchen, always end up making a mess regardless.

even i can admit that not all of the clothes have such memories attached to them, some of them are just average. i know it isn’t going to be as big of a deal as im making it i just need to find the strength and motivation to actually go through with doing it! you’re right the kitchen is impossible. thankfully i don’t mind washing dishes too much. i feel thats sometimes the messiest part.

i’m one of these people, snow is good to look at but after that, i’m more than happy to relocate to another country until it goes. thank you lovely, we are so glad that everybody likes the new album, considering it is going to be out last for a little while.

exactly. it’s nice to look at for a day or so when i can stay inside all cuddled and warm just lookin’ out the window. but after that it just gets all dirty and in the way. im no where near surprised that you all are leaving on a high note, that’s the way to do it!

if it weren’t for the fact that he looks like your spittin image, i probably wouldn’t believe it. he will go far, there’s no doubt about that! i don’t think you’d right out ask, i think i would show up and you would somehow talk me into it before i even realized what was happenin. doesn’t sound like you did the shoppin. good thing i’m here to save the day.

so the holidays are upon us and i’m completely excited. safe to say, i got all the presents wrapped up and i get to chill until christmas eve and christmas day comes along. i’m also incredibly excited for the trip. anyone care to be my buddy? i’ll even kiss you under the mistletoe. just kidding. i mean, only if you want. what are you excited for on this trip? if you’re going. / @hollyweirdstarters

wow you’re a holiday extraordinaire, i have about half of what i need done, done. i’ve just been having quite the time because i feel like i’ve spent more time in the queue to check out than actual shopping. i should have ordered more stuff online, it’s just not the same. i haven’t ever been to colorado so im interested to see it! i also enjoy skiing so i’m looking forward to that.what are you looking forward to about the trip?

So I’ve actually managed to catch up on some sleeping hours since Darius is spending some time with Joe. I’m enjoying my time in London, it’s definitely a lot less crazier than LA or New York. Part of me doesn’t want to leave but I’m also looking forward to the Winter Festival, it will be a fun experience to have with Darius, even though he’s too little to understand what’s happening. Who else is going? We should definitely hang out while we’re there. @hollyweirdstarters

sleep is good! its one of those important things to catch up on, especially when having to care for a child because exhaustion is one ugly beast! I’m going to side with you and say that I also enjoy my time in London far more than any other city. He may not understand what’s happening but he’ll still be able to soak it all in seeing different things, which is great! i haven’t fully committed but i will probably end up going just for a change in scenery.

Oh, yeah. Both definitely take a lot of work. Ahh, really? Things collect on the counter or you just don’t like them being placed there and then move them again? Yeah, everyone has their own sort of justification for things. At least mine kind of makes sense, at least it does to me!

any cleaning with elbow grease involved is a lot of work. that’s why i say i don’t mind easier things, like hoovering, gets the floors nice and clean and i feel accomplished. i just like a clean countertop so if i set something down i always have to find another place for it. you’re the only one it needs to make sense to so as long as you’re good with it, that’s all that matters!

I can understand the fear, though I think our minds are so complex and memories triggered by the most random of things that yours could still cross your mind otherwise. Do you keep a journal at all? Maybe that would ease some of the fears about forgetting experiences as well, if you have the natural inclination to keep one. You’re not, though it isn’t like sanity’s always abundant in this business. Pretty much anything to keep from having to spend a lot of time cleaning.

logically i know that i won’t just forget things, but it’s kind of nice to be able to use the clothes as a reference in a way. i do keep a journal, actually, all the more reason that i shouldn’t be so worried about forgetting things but, i guess it’s just an irrational fear that i have. yeah that makes sense, then it isn’t overwhelming.

don’t get me wrong, i do love a bit of winter, but this year i’m not full ready to commit to the season and i needed to hold onto the summer for just a minute longer. we have been working hard, and we are really proud of the achievements though so it’s finally feeling like all this hard work has paid off. ha, i’m sure there is something i can’t do. how’ve you been getting on love?

i like it for a couple of weeks. get a taste of the cold. maybe a bit of snow. but after that, i would rather it just be more mild. you have every reason to be proud you guys have done amazing! the new songs are bops! all is well here.

your wardrobe must be pretty full then? i can just imagine clothes almost falling out, and you just forcing another item in. i used to just wear the same sort of clothes, but recently i’ve been experimenting with clothes a little more. though, my girlfriend isn’t always a fan of my fashion, and tries to sway me off certain products which i find hilarious. i think we could be onto something, ya know? if the two of us could make a fabric that don’t crease, i think we’d be onto a game changer.

it’s quite packed but it’s organized! and they’re all well taken care of. they’re like my babies. which probably sounds stupid, but it’s true. you have to try out different things so that you can figure out your style and everything, but not everything works so she’s just looking out for you. it would be fantastic. now if only i knew more about science and could figure out what makes certain fabrics fall certain ways and things like that, we could make something work!

at least you’re admitting it! i never thought that would happen. he is, but his little pout is so fuckin’ cute there’s no way to not just cave and give him what he wants. so he has a strategy. i do try to be a good person. i can make a delivery as long as you don’t think you’re gonna talk me into hooverin your place once i get there!

the worst one for me is just laundry, honestly. Like i fully understand the point of it but i’m also like “eh, last clean shirt? i’ll just go buy a new one” because I hate having to spend hours waiting for the washer, and then waiting for the dryer, and don’t even get me started on folding! Problem with saying “i’ll just buy a new one” is that not only does my bank account cry, I also have an even BIGGER pile of laundry when i finally decide to do it. Basically all it boils down to is that i’m lazy, at least your reasons are valid.

laundry is a royal pain in the arse. for exactly the reasons you stated. it takes too long. and i trick myself into thinking that i can get other things done while the washing is in the machine but by the time i start something else, it’s done and i need to move it to the dryer! at least your clothes are new and fresh, that’s got to be a plus. im also a shopaholic so i fully support going out to by something new absolutely any time.

i think ya reasoning is pretty valid, actually. so i’d say just keep the lot, and gradually start throwing things out maybe? like every new item you put in, throw an old one that you know ya haven’t worn in a long time. at least that way it feels legitimate. i don’t really have a level of clean, let’s be real here, so i’m sure it’ll be up to my standards. yeah, i’ve been told, which is why i’m so thankful my mum done it for me for so many years.

thank you. there we go. now that you’ve given me the ok and justified that my reasoning is valid, i can put it off for even longer! i know they do say to get rid of things when you’re bringing something new in but i have a hard time with that too. they honestly need to just come up with fabrics that don’t ever wrinkle. i know some exist but with science and technology there has got to be a way to make all clothes wrinkle-less. right?

You’re not alone with that, but being an adult definitely makes it harder because you know you need to do it but procrastination seems to always win. I get it like certain clothes come with memories and some memories are really special and i get it – even if i can’t wear them anymore – it’s hard to let go of a memory.

and the flip side tells me that im an adult so i can do whatever i want! which is why i suppose i haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. i know that at some point i’ll be able to let go of some things. to be fair, i havent even actually tried to do it yet because ive been dreading it. so i may be better at doing it than i think.

the agreement does happen on occasion, i can admit that. though you are one of the most stubborn people i know. i definitely believe that doing positive things for others will come back to me in a positive way, i hope. and if it doesn’t at least ive done somethin good. this is true. throw in a sausage roll and you’re happy.

Well, I guess that’s true! It’s not like my closet is overrun by clothes, and there’s no room for me to walk. Each item is hung up or placed in a drawer, so I suppose that you are right! Nothing wrong with it. Aww, well I can understand that. I’m assuming that you have lots and lots and lots of clothes that you aren’t parting with, then? Doesn’t it make you sad to keep the clothes that you wore to… sad events? Or after a breakup?

exactly, it’s just...you know...stuffed to the brim. im not opposed to putting in another closet though which probably means i do have a bit of a problem. i have too many that im not parting with, i think! it does, but sad is part of life too. which is why i need to stop holding onto things. and i suppose i do have quite a variety of clothes that aren’t mine. i should probably offer to give those back...

takes a bit of elbow grease, that. the kitchen is also a lot of work, i get ocd about my countertop so i feel like im constantly placing things there and then having to find another place for it. there you go, whatever justification works for you!

I don’t just hate chores, I loath them, but I disgrace. The closest clean out is the most dreaded but I’d say laundry is probably the most annoying and time consuming chore out there. I know for me at least I have to plan a whole dedicated to just doing my laundry because it’s not like you can just leave them in the dryer because they’ll get wrinkly so it end up defeating the purpose. I do the same thing, I’ll forget I have half of items until I clean out my closet then I just go back to forgetting about them. It’s an endless cycle. Admitting you have a problem is the first step. You’re not wrong though, they are associated with memories and certain time of our lives. Maybe we need to get together and get rid of clothes together? It’s easier to get rid of someone else’s stuff.

the washing is very time consuming. you have to set aside a few hours so that you can load and unload at the right times because exactly, everything turns out a wrinkled mess otherwise! then i get so annoyed and have to start all over again. yeah i keep thinking that maybe with motivation i would do a better job of it?
