When I was little

When I was little, I wanted the world to be fair. I could sense the weight that my mother carried, and all I wanted was for her to be okay. That’s what a child does, they love without measure. They will risk their whole life to save the parent they love. 

My mother was not evil. What I am coming up against is true evil and the only ones who can fight it are the children that became soldiers before they were even legal adults.

Right now, somewhere in the world, there is someone in their prime just like me--using their endless youthful energy to fight for the same goal as me. One day, we'll be pit against each other to fight for the funding to bring our idea to full fruition. All I can do is prepare myself to the best of my abilities and hone the skills I possess.

Evil Triumphs When Good People Do Nothing

It’s nye. I’m in LA. Alone eating a hotdog outside of a 7-11 trying not to cry. I did my best this last year and that’s all I can ask for.

Surviving siblings may find positive changes within their lives. Some survivors feel the need to make a change in their life’s work, such as becoming a therapist, or working to effect a change in the area that took the life of the sibling.

the heart and love

In the beginning love is all we know. As we grow, it becomes better. But with more mistakes, failures, and experience, we become more cautious and less excited about learning how to love. Some of us aren’t even sure we know how...that’s how disappointing it may have been until now.

Love does not expect anything in return. It radiates from the delighted soul because it is bursting with happiness. It wants to see the light, it wants you to try again. But we become afraid. Life on this planet is not so simple.

No matter

I have waited my entire life...to have the sovereignty, power, and face of an adult. Long ago, I tucked away my confusing, abusive childhood and ran for the safety and solace of adulthood. No one came to save me, I had to save myself.
