Alright, I'm finally making a pinned post. I'm Eldritch, and this is my main blog. It isn't specifically a fandom blog, but I mostly post about my current fandom hyperfixations. I draw occasionally, with the tag "#my art". You can send me drawing requests, though I may or may not use them

Next up someone is going to claim that the Narnia series isn't kids books.

Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.

I want you to understand this. I NEED you to understand this. My mother read me the hobbit as bedtime story, and I started pushing myself to read before pre-school so I could in fact read the hobbit for myself instead of having to wait for bedtime.

I didn't do so right away but jesus wept I PUSHED myself to learn to read SPECIFICALLY so I could read The Hobbit! It is, in fact, a children's story! And children only see page count as 'there is a lot of this fun story to read!'

Btw for anyone who likes the Crumbl sea salt toffee cookies, you can make a better version of them by following the copycat recipe from cookingwithkarli and substituting semi-sweet chocolate for milk chocolate and 1.5 cups of toffee bits (without chocolate coating) for the Heath bar pieces. To really elevate them, use brown butter (making it's not as daunting as it sounds)

They're very good even if — like me — you don't like Crumbl cookies. They've been a big hit with everyone I've made them for and my roommate's boyfriend even payed me like $20 to bake some for him

On this day one year ago, I was fired from Crumbl Cookies because my grandfather suddenly died and I cried when I found out and was on the clock. They make you sign a waiver to not talk about the recipes that lasts one year after your termination. Well guess what babes. That day, is today. RIP Nanu, you’ve been missed.
