October 28, 1985 — Happy Birthday Troian Bellisario! ❤️
Future Week - 3 Years
After much emotional struggle, Elle has managed to move on from her late husband and start a relationship with Jordyn St. James. Things are getting pretty serious between the two, and Julia is very fond of Jordyn.
Julia has been diagnosed with ADHD; Type 1. Elle is reluctant to puut Julia on medication at the moment, due to her age. However, Elle strictly regulates her diet and makes her exercise regularly. This helps with her symptoms.
One method of exercise for Julia is dance. She takes lessons from Jordyn and has actually taken a liking to it.
Elle has finished her training and is now a fully qualified pediatrician. However, Elle has grown disillusioned with her job and much prefers the work she does with Dean’s Trust, a charity her and Gabriella Dias set up in her late husband’s name.
Dean’s Trust is slowly growing, and Elle is considering quitting her job to focus on it.
She is also considering moving to New York for Jordyn.
Text 📲 Eleanor & Jackie
Elle: Right, so, I don't like to moan about my kid, but I think you should know exactly what I mean by "she's a handful" before you agree to have her overnight.

Text 📲 Eleanor & Gabriella
Gabriella: I could only imagine. I can't wait for you to get to experience more of that with your little girl. And how wonderful that the older she gets the more things in common you guys can have.
Gabriella: Now that is a fun idea! I just feel lucky that I had all the support that I did and had the ability to make my dream a reality so easily.
Gabriella: Well I do trust you but you are correct! I'm glad we can have this open communication with everything. Makes this that much more special.
Gabriella: Yes that would be perfect!
Elle: I really don't want her to grow up. I just want her to stay my sweet baby girl, aha. I just hope we can bond when she does.
Elle: It would be fun. But a little dangerous, too. I probably wouldn't last five seconds, aha.
Elle: I'm glad you got the support you needed to follow your dreams.
Elle: Of course! I won't keep anything from you!
Elle: Wonderful! Just sent it over!
Text 📲 Braxton & Eleanor
Braxton: I'm sorry :/
Braxton: Hey, you know, at least no one can ever realistically call you lazy.
Braxton: That's a good thing too.
Elle: It could be worse. At least I have some kind of distraction.
Elle: That's true. I hate being seen as lazy, aha.
Elle: It is!
Text 📲 Eleanor & Reese
Reese: Eh. maybe, maybe not.
Elle: I'd actually put money on it. All the old people I met while volunteering for OAP homes love living. It's cute, in a way.
TEXT 📱 Elle
Jordyn: She sounds like a handful and a half.
Jordyn: It's not selfish though. Look, I can't pretend to know what it's even like to have a toddler with another person around, let alone raising one on my own. Right now your daughter is your main focus, right? It makes sense that what you're focused on is missing his support with her.
Jordyn: What you're doing and going through is hard, I think if you let yourself acknowledge that and know that you /can/ acknowledge it without it making you a bad mom it might just make it a bit easier, at the very least you won't feel so bad about yourself for thinking it.
Elle: She can be, yeah.
Elle: Yeah, her and my job. But Julia pretty much takes up my entire home life, so I suppose you're right. It's just hard to feel that way when I'm around his family, especially when his mom thinks what happened is my fault.
Elle: [UNSENT] And she's kind of right.
Elle: Yeah, I do feel a bit better just talking to you. Thank you, Jordyn.
Text 📲 Eleanor & Gabriella
Gabriella: I think that would be the most beautiful part about having a child. Experiencing life with them and finding out exactly what the both of you have in common with various interests and hobbies. And in turn how that can help you grow even closer.
Gabriella: Oh wow that is amazing! It is great when you always know what you want to do isn't it? Since I could remember I wanted to be an actress.
Gabriella: I would love to! Thank you so much for thinking of me.
Elle: Bonding with your child really is something special. You spend all your time loving and protecting them, so having that parent-child bond is so important.
Elle: Oh really? I think I wanted to be a jungle explorer as a kid. It's great that you were always so focused on one thing, I admire that.
Elle: Of course! You shouldn't attach your name to something without knowing what exactly it is!
Elle: Should I use the address Leah used when she emailed all of us?
Text 📲 Braxton & Eleanor
Braxton: That sounds like its difficult to deal with, honestly.
Braxton: Yeah, it's probably a stereotype for a reason, I guess.
Braxton: Well thats good then! I'm sure once she starts to make friends the move won't seem so bad to her.
Elle: It can be, yeah.
Elle: I think most people like to lounge about, to be honest. I'm just a weirdo, I guess, aha.
Elle: I hope so. At least I moved before she starts remembering things.
