I will continue to come back.
I will continue to create new blogs every time my messaging and commenting privileges are "revoked," because I am just as worthy of having full access to all the features of this social media platform as any other user.
I will continue to follow the same people, because I like their content - and I will continue to expect the same, because that's why we all come here. If any other user doesn't like what I have to say, or if anyone wishes me not to follow them, not only does the Messaging feature exist to ask politely, but the block feature exists to be used. I certainly use it. I know who I want to interact with here and whom I do not. And I'm utterly free to change my mind at any given time, and to express my opinion freely on this de facto Town Square called a social media Platform, which is not a Publisher. According to Section 230 even a hellsite (affectionate) such as this must adhere to the Rules, rather than the emotional huffery of certain hypersensitive Staff members. My boundaries are mine to determine, as are yours, as individuals -- but as a Platform, you can't legally act as the Ministry Of Truth. You just can't. On top of that, you're choking the life out of the Platform you claim to love, if you do.
We all know the corporate censorship accomplished here is not done by algorithms. It's not that consistent. It's done by people. But this site is (ostensibly) for people - and if it's not for all of them, it's for none of them. Freedom of speech is Freedom of thought.
We are all here for that freedom. Artists, writers, activists, evangelists, human beings of all stripes and preferences and fetishes and politics. This could be the garden where we all meet.
But if you actually desire to censor thought, you might consider whether in fact you're the baddies.
I'm back, I'll continue to be back, I'll always be back. It is impossible to outlive or outlast the human desire for Freedom.
