Eric was supposed to have a face scar but I scrapped it because I thought it might be too edgy.... I decided to bring it back but I'm still not sure if I should keep it or not....

The older piece is from february and it kinda sucked💔 the newer version is closer to what I was going for originally.....

I've explained some parts of Eric's lore before but it's scattered all over my posts so in summary: Eric is an opportunistic yet rather friendly and somewhat charming man in his early 30's. He's a drifter who spends most of his days on horseback, occasionally working any job he can get his hands on. He's convinced that his presence brings bad luck - that's why he avoids staying for long in one spot and always carries a rabbit's foot charm

He's also the owner of the red roan tovero horse from my previous post!!

RDR2 oc's horses!!!😝😝

First one is Eric's horse, a mare of mixed breed, red roan tovero. Very, very stubborn but also very loyal and trustworthy. Can easily navigate through harsh terrains. She's been traveling by Eric's side for many years now.

The second one is Gabriel's horse, an old draft gelding. Very big, but also very calm and docile. Doesn't spook easily and is used to slow rides. Surprisingly good for an inexperienced rider like Gabriel (although he has some trouble getting on the saddle occasionally)

Both horses without their saddles. I know the saddles aren't accurate they're there for decorative purposes okay

While traveling through the Bayou Nwa, you spot a stranger sitting by the side of the road. With a very thick accent (and a bit of struggle), he manages to explain that he got lost and needs help finding his way back to the nearest town... will you help him?

If you do decide to help him, there's a big chance that you'll get robbed out of anything that's small and valuable - and notice it far too late to do anything about it. But there's also a possibility that Gabriel will get too anxious to proceed with his plan and you'll get to keep all your precious possessions.

After long years of being manipulated and kept under the heel of his patron, Gabriel managed to set himself free from his miserable life in Saint Denis. He spent his first few days out of the city on hiding from the law, which was chasing him for ki//ing the local businessman. With his lack of any survival skills and mental instability, Gabriel had little chance of surviving on his own. Thankfully he stumbled opon someone who was able to help him out - a famous gunslinger who was currently staying in the nearby area, Black Belle...

Black Belle put quite some effort into teaching Gabriel the basics of surviving as an outlaw, hoping to make someone possibly useful - with varying results. One thing that Gabriel did manage to learn is using some of his characteristic to his advantage. With his very saint-denis-citizien-like appearance and delicate and nimble, he managed to fool and rob quite a few people without getting caught... that of course was only the beginning of his new life....

Gabriel mywonderful miserable baby

A young painter living in Saint Denis who was (un)fortunate enough to find himself under the patronage of Henri Lemieux. Very skittish and very anxious, hates being constantly dragged from one eventto another (as Lemieux likes to show himoff a bit). Very bad at dealing with stress and avoids people as much as he can when he can. He feels very lost and out of place amongst the Mayor's old and rich friends.

He might be using something to keep himself calm during events - which is sometimesvery noticeable hmm And also might be chasing a possibility non-existent muse hmm
