July 29 - JFK Airport
â§Â invisichick:
âThat makes two of us.â Jenny replied, smirking at her a little. Admittedly, Jenny was a tad worried, mostly because of Malinaâs hesitance and questions when she mentioned the mission to her. Besides, Malina was still a kid.
Hopefully this wasnât going to backfire.
Jenny glanced around the runway. There were tons of people out here, but thankfully the plane had to come down a little further out on the landing strip anyway, so there was plenty of room for the explosion when the plane crashed.
She nodded at Malina and put her hands on her shoulders, taking a deep breath and looked at the sky. A few minutes later, Jenny spotted the plane and pointed it out to Malina. âItâs the United Airways one straight ahead.â
Malina looked about as well. Sheâd turned off her emotion and instead thought in calculated measures in order to take the plane down in a way that would be least likely to hurt anyone on the ground. Closing her eyes, she paid attention to the feeling of the wind around her and the sun beaming down on her face. She remained in this place of peace, until Jenny spoke once more.Â
Opening her eyes, Malina spotted the plane. It was still quite a distance out, but she wanted to keep it that way. Bringing her hands out by her side, she opened her palms and pressed forward with all the wind she could muster. It wasnât much at first, only an increase in pressure allowing the plane to continue its journey closer. With a deep breath, she quickly jerked her arms to the right and the wind supporting the wings of the plane moved violently out of place.Â
The next moments were a blur. Malina could see people screaming around her, people in black suits speaking into radios. After getting over the initial shock, the sound started to return to Malinaâs ears. The gates around the terminal began to close and approaching sirens were screaming in the distance.
