It's so weird to think about how mercilessly time flies, but today's Feb 24th. And we are hitting the fourth "anniversary" (crude word) of ruzzia full-scale invasion in Ukrainian territories. I don't have much to say, except for a few important reminders, because, apparently, some people are forgetting them:

Ruzzia has been destroying Ukrainian sovereignty, it's culture, it's people for decades and continues to this very day.

"Ruzzians never ever strikes at military bases." No, no, no. They strike at hospitals, playgrounds, kindergartens, theaters, schools, railways with civilian people, and everytim the same, bloody, excuse: "Well, actually, there were soldiers"

Everything ruzzians tell you about "neo-nazis" and "oppression of social minorities" in Ukraine – blatant lies to cover their bloodthirsty intentions.

When you boycott Israel and keep consuming ruzzian production (literature, movies, etc, etc) – you are a hypocrite, you still support a terrorist state. Aggressors are aggressors in any form or shape.

You cannot say that "ruzzian people are not guilty," when they still live and work there, they still pay taxes to the government, which produces a shitload of weapons to keep mass-murdering Ukrainians.

And remember: silence kills. Through the decades of its existence, ruzzia have shamelessly invaded many countries: Finland, Baltic States, Chechnya, Georgia, Ukraine, don't let the world forget about the crimes ruzzia committed and keep committing.

"I really like this actor because he has a profound understanding of Tolkien’s writings. It’s not just about knowing dates and events; it’s about grasping what the characters feel and how they influence themselves and others. He has all the skills to set a very high bar for this character’s portrayal and become a new reference point for everyone else.

My only fear is that the show isn't interested in that. They’d rather sell some 'pornography' mixed with other characters than portray a strong leader. So, there’s a chance that these loser writers and the director won't give the actor and the character the opportunity to shine 100%.

I’m currently looking for an interview for first season where Benjamin said that when he rereads Tolkien, it’s like he falls into a trance to understand the text and the events. It’s so 'elvish,' because elves don’t sleep—they go into a waking dream trance.

What also wins me over, as I mentioned, is his knowledge of the source material. He knows the text much better than Robert Aramayo, whom everyone for some reason considers a huge Tolkien geek. Though in a recent podcast, Aramayo himself admitted he didn't know many things—like Elrond being an orphan, being held captive, etc. Plus, he talks nonsense, claiming that Elrond, who is already 1,600 years old, still hasn't 'found himself.' Don’t even get me started on the kiss with his mother-in-law [Coming from Aramayo, it felt like a dagger to the back, right in the heart. My view of him changed instantly.]
