Animalcules - Finally sharing this piece that was inspired by Anton Van Leeuwenhoek and his discovery of what he called "animalcules". He took a bit of pond water and used this fascinating little device to find, to his surprise, that there was life far beyond what the eye can see! (Anton is ALSO considered to be the first to study spermatozoa 😉) He is often called the father of microbiology and has made improvements to the microscope. Cog Fog - With all the excitement of drawlloween, I hadn't taken the time to share a couple of special pieces I had completed before then. I tried to convey the lost and blank sort of feeling that comes with cognitive fog. I'm so easily distractable, and I often find myself wandering around the house or outside just trying to go through muddled thoughts about what I'm supposed to be doing. This at times causes me to take ages to complete even simple tasks. For example, I like making keto coffee in the morning, but if I'm feeling foggy, it can take me around 45 mins to make it, and who knows how long for me to actually drink it because I have 0 focus.
