I don't really know where I should start in this, but I suppose I don't have much room, so I will attempt to make it brief. If you wouldn't have come into my life and forced me to realize that there was a chance for me, I don't know where I would be. I would probably be my same old slutty self, tearing up the hearts of Sky High without a care in the world, or worse, I'd be dead. I don't know how to thank you for that. You came into my life when I needed you most, and I don't know whether I should thank you or Fate for that, but I think I'll just stick with you.
I love you so much, Patrick. And god, it feels so good to be able to say that. That you for everything you have done for me, thank you for staying by my side throughout rehab and everything I had to deal with. Just... thank you. I don't know how to express how I feel very well, so I hope these presents will do just that.
The first thing I'll say is: don't look up any of the prices. Deal? Deal. The ring isn't me proposing to you, it's making a promise to you. I don't know if marriage is in the cards for us yet, because I don't want to be one of those couples that rush everything and regret it, but for now I want you to understand that I am one hundred percent loyal to you, and from now until whenever this wonderful ride ends (which I'm hoping won't be for a long time), I am faithfully yours. The pocket watch is just because I know how big of a problem keeping track of the time can be for you especially, and it'll always remind you when to come home to me.
