bishopvillegas:
Iām not my mother, Eli.Ā
I know you arenāt.
bishopvillegas:
You think Iām insane. Yeah, I got it.
I donāt think youāre insane. I think you need to see he doctors. Please. At the very least, for your kids.
bishopvillegas:
( after a moment, bishop rolls his eyes, stepping away. he pulls out his butterfly knife, little space between the two. itās a threat and itās not.Ā ) Iām joking. What are you freaking out about? What? My brother told you Iām turning into my mother?
Finally fucking Chandlerās neighbor? Do I need to give him the talk?
Iām notĀ freaking out, Iām concerned. And I donāt care who youāre turning into. What matters is that youāre...
Can you focus, please?
bishopvillegas:
You need to get laid. ( he moves closer, smiling suggestively at the younger boy. )Ā And if youāre not having any luckā¦
( for a moment, eli stares in wide-eyed disbelief. then, he takes a step back, remembering whatās going on. his back hits the wall, and he presses against it. ) See, thisĀ is what Iām talking about! Youāre married, Bishop.
And my sex life is doing fineĀ without your help, thanks.
bishopvillegas:
Why donāt you stay the fuck out of my life, and get a boyfriend or something. When was the last time you got laid?
Youāre my friend, B, Iām not staying out of this. Look, you need help. Even if you donāt think you do.
And leave my sex life out of this.
Prince was the first person I ever saw live. I listened to him growing up, my mom played his music while she was pregnant with me. When you guys all hated me, Prince was there and kept me sane and safe from myself. He was an enormous part of my life.
And Iām sorry heās gone. My condolences.
How are you not heartbroken? A culture icon just died, Eli!
You know how many people have died in the past two weeks? How many countries were torn apart by earthquakes? Texas is still flooded.
So, no, I donāt really have any particular sympathy for a guy who sang.Ā
Well it should!
....yeah, Iāll just ask Noah for those notes, then.
But, um... Iām sorry youāre so upset?
āāā Of course Iām not okay, Prince is dead!
...that has literally nothing to do with what I just asked you.
my loverās got humor
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ( Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā heās the giggle at a funeral. )
About two and a half days ago, Clarke had grabbed Noah by the hand, announced that they were leaving. There had been no explanation. No information given. No one knew where they were, how long they would be gone, or why they were leaving. Just one second they were there, and the next, they werenāt. No one knew anything.
Except for Eli. Having been in Noahās life for so long, Eli knew exactly where they going and what they were doing. He also knew that it wasnāt his place to tell anyone. His only job was to stay where he was, and stay safe.
Which, to be fair, heād been doing a great job at doing up until now.
He knew that going out and doing anything alone was dangerous. Heād heard all of the lectures. But he could only wait for Noah for so long. He had been waiting in the house for days, and it was getting boring. He needed something to do.
And sex was definitely something.
The guy was someone heād been with a few times. Definitely not on Stephenās list of people he trusted, but someone whose company Elijah enjoyed nonetheless. He was just within Elijahās age range, as opposed to some of the other guys heād been with. But no matter his age, he was a good lay, which was about all Elijah was ever worried about.
Anyway, that was how he found himself, here, in his rented out bedroom in Violetās home, doing a bit of heavy petting. Nothing too explicit -- they hadnāt lost any clothes yetĀ -- but enough to ease some of the tension in the pupās body.
He was on cloud nine as his lips moved against the otherās. It wasnāt passionate or loving. There was no deep, emotional message behind the kiss. There were no exchanges of utterances, no, āI love youāĀ to be said. Touches werenāt tender, gentle, longing, wanting. It was pure, raw hunger and lust, a primal need being met. Hands sliding over bodies, skin searching for skin, lips teasing, tasting, taunting. Breath coming out in harsh pants, mingling in brief pauses, before lips connected once again, teeth dragging across lips in unadulterated need.
It was a simplistic, meaningless make out session during a time of need. So, yeah, he shouldāve expected this to come crashing down.
One second, their lips were pressed against each other, Elijahās back pressed to the sheets, the other boyās hands sliding up his torso, slipping around his neck. And the next, it was hard to breathe. His vision blurred as his hands scrambled to remove the others from around his neck. The other boy, Otis, smirked as his grip around Eliās neck tightened.
His vision started to darken and he started to move on instinct, alone. Not really thinking about it, he reached to the nightstand next to the bed, recklessly shoving things to the ground as his hands finally gripped something large and metal. Lifting it with as much strength as he had left, Eli cracked the object against the other boyās head. It knocked the psychopath off of him, and Eli coughed, bringing a hand to his neck as he tried to catch his breath.
āW-what the hell is your problem,ā Eli coughed, giving Otis a wide-eyed look.
His lover straightened, blood leaking for the wound on his temple.Ā āCurrently? The fact that youāre still alive.ā He reached his hand into a drawer, pulling out a hammer. He turned back to Eli, twirling the tool with horrifying ease. āI mean, I like you, Eli, but I also like the two hundred bucks Iām being paid for getting rid of you. So letās not take this personally, yeah?ā
The thing is, itās really hard notĀ to take it personally when someone throws a hammer at your head.
Eli ducked under it, almost screaming at how close it had been. He didnāt have time to celebrate, though, as not even a second later, a hard punch was delivered to his jaw. Caught completely off guard, the darker boy fell to ground. A hard, swift kick to his stomach left him winded, tears leaking from his eyes as he rolled over to his stomach.
He felt himself being straddled from behind. Without any warning, his head was lifted then smashed to the ground, once, twice. Then Otis was speaking, but he couldnāt really hear what he was saying, and he didnāt care all that much. Smooth lips pressed against the skin on his shoulder, then his neck.Ā āNothing personal,ā Otis muttered in his ear, as a cloth was wrapped around the youngerās neck.Ā āItās just business, babe.ā
There really was no way to describe what happened next. Even if he wantedĀ to describe what happened, he wouldnāt --- couldnāt. The world blurred, becoming a vortex of unimaginable pain; his airways were blocked, and he felt as if his neck would snap if the cloth was pulled any tighter. ThenĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
āGet the hell off of him!ā Violetās voice had never sounded so good.
āBack off, bitch,ā Otis growled.Ā āYouāre next.ā
Though Eli couldnāt see anything, could barely hear, he knew something had transpired within the next few moments, because suddenly, the weight was lifted off of him and Otis was attacking Violet, with a loud cry of,Ā āYou bitch!ā
For a long minute, Eli was dazed. He could only watch as Otis grabbed the girl, snarling at her. She struggled in his grip before lifting her knee into his groin. She shoved the attacker away, glaring defiantly at him.Ā āStay away from my pack.ā
With a cry, Otis attacked again, this time, heading for her stomach. He punched her, directly where her wound was, eliciting a sharp cry from her. The girl put a hand to her injury, tears leaking from her eyes and that --- that was the final straw.
It was one thing to attack Elijah. It was one thing to use sex as a way to lure him in and hurt him. It was one thing to try and take him out in the place where he was staying. But to use him to get to Violet? To attack his friend, his injuredĀ friend, directly in front of him?
Fuck no.
With a sudden burst of strength, he lunged for the hammer that Otis had dropped earlier. He looked at the boy, who shook the petite girl violently, a growl leaving his lips.Ā āI was gonna save you for last,ā he snarled in her ear.Ā āWas gonna ruin that pretty boyfriend of yours, killĀ āim right in front of you, right after I ended this one. But you just couldnāt mind your fucking bu---ā
Unable to take any more, Eli charged, bringing the hammer down on the assholeās head. There was a still moment before Otisā body dropped, alive but unconscious. Swaying slightly and breathing deeply, Eli dropped the weapon.Ā āDonāt touch my pack,ā he said weakly.
āEli,ā Violet called to him, wincing as she tried to move.Ā āEĀ Ā Ā ā
Whatever she was going to say next fell on deaf ears as Eliās eyes rolled to the back of his head and he passed out.
