I saw someone on tiktok talking shit about the paint scene today, saying they hate it, and I didn't bother them or anything, but I just... look, it's not realistic, I get it. But the point of that scene isn't realism, the point is to create something visually beautiful. And it is, I consider it a piece of true cinematic art. Every single shot looks like a painting, and the metaphor present through the paint and all the colors and the light is brilliant, and the way everything was building to that specific moment... 10/10, no notes. I don't care what anybody else says, that scene is absolutely stunning.
