words to remember
“Don’t apologize for simply existing. Because it is not wrong.”
“Feeling unsure and lost is part of your path. Don’t avoid it. See what those feelings are showing you and use it. Take a break. You’ll be okay. Even if you don’t feel okay all the time.”
one of those days were i painfully miss mum.
It may be over now, but I am sure I'll see you again...

she has been gone for a week and i still think she will walk through that door again...
Even after four-and-a-half years, I still think she will come back
God truly answers prayer even in the midst of trial and troubles.
Tonight my mother gave her life to God.
No matter what happens I know she is always with Him from now on. Nothing can separate His spirit living in her now.

As we all know the Sydney siege happened and everyone has their opinion. This one sat a little funny with me, however, I was in no position to comment on the article. This was my deepest thought about the article 'dob in their brothers, cousins extended family' because they intend to harm people. I discussed this with my husband; there are more people in the western world that die in car accidents than terrorism. What if we all dobbed in all those that intentionally speed, look at their phone while driving, drink and drive, do not drive to the conditions or tail gate perhaps we could be saving thousands of lives every year. "Not all should be made to suffer because the actions of a few" disrespectful drivers who deem themselves so important. Race, religion, nationality, class or gender have no boundaries on this one.
Our friend John Hartman came down to our offices to catch up with Jamie Tworkowski and to talk about The Hope Revolution Tour.
With New Empire as well
This is my high school years rolled into a tour. At the beginning of this year I walked down the aisle to 'Your Guardian Angle', high school dream come true. I have seen New Empire multiple times, and got to share their music with my husband. Music is that one thing that can bind all aspects of my life together.

Fallen Soldier Back From War
Today in my year 3 class we had a very special visitor, he is 93 years old born in 1920. This year he celebrates 79 years since he came back from World War 2. He was a pilot in the Australian Air Force trained in Sydney and furthered his position when he was sent to Winnipeg, Canada. They were transported on renovated cargo ships which had difficulties tackling the 60 foot swells created by hurricanes off the US Coast, they made a stop in San Francisco before making landfall into Canada. During his time in Canada he learnt the ropes to all he needed to survive when then headed to Europe, including 'snowball wars' one of the more enjoyable memories he has, it was great to see he still has his sense of humour. When his team arrived in Europe they face much adversity with lack of rations, limited communication to base and difficult conditions with allies and enemies. He recalled a day when he and a mate went to church as they would whenever they had a chance, this one instance the church was bombed, one missile landed straight into the aisle of the church within moments the entire roof had come down and all the congregation were tucked under the wooden support beams or the small bunker the priest had ushered most of the elderly into. He said this is one of the most devastating sights but also when God really shone as the building collapsed but the church stood strong. He never went into great lengths about he participation in the war and often recited things he saw or the aircrafts he was surrounded by. I sit and listened to every word and watched his face so intently as my children asked questions, it was obvious that he had many terrible memories however dwelt upon the patriotic actions he saw. He is glad there has been nothing to this extent since, 'these generations wouldn't know how to handle it' he said as he reflected upon the different lifestyles. He is just one of the tens of thousands of men who wish to 'silence the guns forever'.
