billywigs-and-nifflers:
Lysander had been dragged into the Quidditch shop by Lorcan, and now he was bored. All the brooms looked the same to him, though he had enough social skills to know not to say that out loud. It was while he was investigating the label of some broom wax that Ly overheard some guys giving a girl trouble for being a muggleborn and a girl. Ly looked over and squinted. He knew that girl. Vaguely. “You’re… captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team, aren’t you?” he blurted, not even thinking about it. Normally Ly didn’t recognize people that well (animals, he recognized by small variations in fur color, but humans? no way), but for some reason he remembered Lorcan playing against this girl, and that she was the captain. Lorcan might have mentioned her name once or twice, but Ly didn’t remember that.
Maggie looked over at the redheaded boy, confused as to why he would ask her that. They had played against each other for years. She soon was seeing double, realizing her annoying opponent had a twin. “Oh, um, yeah.” she nodded, her words not as confident as usual because she was caught off guard. Maggie ignored the males heckling her and walked over to the ginger haired boy. “You’re Lorcan’s brother?” she asked, assuming he wasn’t Lorcan because he wasn’t automatically hitting on her.
