Adam glances at her, not a hint of recognition on his face before he reached forward to take his coffee. Naturally, it came quickly, but he lingered for a moment at her question, âNo, youâre not as important as you think you are,â he says, drawing his wand from his black robes to quickly cool his coffee, âDonât cause any trouble, I shouldnât like to meet you again.â
Elizabethâs coffee was swiftly served and she reached for it without breaking eye contact with the stranger, not caring in the slightest who he really was. Youâre not as important as you think you are. She rolled her eyes. Oh, he had no idea just who he was dealing with. But she had places to be and he was so far beneath her feet that she neednât bother give him the time of day. Without another word, she walked past him with her coffee, prepared to take on the rest of the day.
