Acephobia is rooted in the patriarchy because how dare you consider your body your own and choose not to devote it to your husband/wife?
It is no one but your business who gets to touch or see your body. Asexuality is part of liberating people's right to own their physical bodies and not be forced to give them to the church, the government, or anyone or anything else without their explicit consent.

It is here that I am officially stating that I disagree with all people who say Alex's 14 heart event is stupid and useless.
It's actually perfect. This man had been severely hurt by his alcoholic father, yet he makes an effort to reach out to the same demographic as his dad, and create a space for them to connect and make friendships. Pelican Town is a place that lacks male spaces greatly. A lot of them are either family-based (ie the festivals) or more popular around women or religious folk. Alex goes forth and improves the community by creating a space where all men of Pelican Town can participate, if not to watch gridball then just to talk and hang out. George can participate too because the main activity isn't physical as most men's activities tend to be. The men of Pelican Town are truly encouraged to sit down and talk in this space, instead of filling their time with physical activity. All the while Alex goes through subtle character development himself, by going to a space his father would've been a regular at, and making it better.
It's beautiful, and it reflects the message of the game.
High Cortisol: Christians arguing whether animals have souls or not and if they'll end up in heaven.
Low Cortisol: Choosing to believe everything in this world has inherit value and treating every creature kindly whether they'll end up where I will when we die.
The world will become a better place when people stop accusing every piece of media of cultural appropriation when they took inspiration from a culture.
Because it feels awesome to see your culture being an inspiration, even in a subtle way. Because ya'll Euro-centric folk are the inspiration so often, you mistake inspiration of other cultures as cultural appropriation saying "it doesn't give credit". The visual is the credit, the respect is the credit. A creator being inspired by an aspect of culture is the credit.
It's for those who know. If you didn't know, you need to learn about other cultures and learn how to enjoy them.

My only problem with Clint being the new bachelor is that people will marry him, divorce, and marry Emily, and make sure they do that on Clint's birthday. It's evil.
I am excited for his character arc to be developed, however. I feel like we all villianize incels (not without reason) to the point of believing they’re unredeemable and deserve nothing but hate. I want to see stories of hardcore incels get better, of them fixing whatever problem put them in that spot in the first place, and coming out a better more well rounded individual in the end. I feel like Clint has opportunity to be a great example of a redeemed incel.
People who are well off financially and lean towards the right in the USA piss me off so much, because according to them liberal women are protesting against the liberation of Iranian women, when in fact, a lot of the protests are against war because war is bad and expensive and I don't want my brothers getting deployed and I want to afford food again.
The absolute worst part of being closeted trans, in my experience, is building a relationship with my family knowing all of it will be left behind once I start transitioning. We used to be so at odds with each other, but they're comfortable with me now (even though I'm not). I think this is mostly a Buddhist idea, but I must remember not to grieve what hasn't happened yet, for I am making myself suffer more.
I think Isaac's sacrifice story is the perfect tldr for all of Christianity. God will save you from the situations HE put you in.
