Yeah, it prob definitely would be because you could like... totally make up your own rules with an alien. Anything’s possible, y’know~

We aaaaaaaaarrrrre so pumped about it. NYCFW is gonna be lit. If you’ve got the time in your schedule to be there, I highly recommend it.

Just got back on set and time has already lost all meaning. Drawbacks of being a time traveller. Junior, on the other hand, seems to be enjoying the star treatment far too much to mind.

A time traveler? Okay. I’ve... clearly missed something all these months......

F2F * DARELLA

[Dara is very pleased with the greeting, a light pink rising on her cheeks as she takes a pastry from the box, her own smile growing. Most of her designers wanted her empty and filled with nothing but air when she came into the studio. Ella is very different, refreshing.]

Dara: Thank you, you gem.

[She takes a bite of the treat in her hand before giggling softly. Animals were Dara's biggest weakness. She reaches up with her free hand and ruffles the fur on top of the pup's head.]

Dara: Oh. My. God. Aren't you just so cute? [turning to Ella] I can't imagine what this day is going to be like if you're already treating me like a queen.

[ Ella looks pleased and laughs. ]

Ella: Women always love Ozzie. She's my secret weapon.

[ The car starts moving then, and Ella sets the box of pastry goodness back at their feet. She leans back and starts fidgeting with the radio again. ]

Ella: So this should be a pretty easy day. Long but easy. Get you acquainted with hair and makeup, go over some mock-ups, take some more tests, measurements... yadda yadda yadda.

F2F * DARELLA

[Dara's positive that she hasn't been this tired in a long time. It was hard for her to sleep last night and she drank what felt like a gallon of coffee this morning, so she figures she will be just fine. All of her tricks to get rid of her puffy eyes had worked.]

[She is waiting in the lobby of her hotel for a car that Ella has sent, her left knee bouncing anxiously. Ella has been more than accommodating for the blonde and the two of them have been getting along phenomenally in the early stages. A working relationship that Dara is very grateful for. Upon being notified that the car has arrived, Dara slips her sunglasses on and her makes her way over.]

Dara: Ella! I wasn't expecting to see you until the studio. [she slips into the backseat, a wide smile on her face.] This is the best [emphasis on 'the best'] surprise!

[ Ella's smile is wide and bright white toothy. She genuinely likes Dara. ( She likes most people, but Dara is especially sweet and easy to get along with. ) As far as models go, Ella's worked with some real pieces of work. So ones as sweet as the blonde are precious gems. Honestly. ]

Ella: Well that is /the best/ thing I've heard this morning!

[ Leaning over and without warning, Ella presses pink-tinted lips to Dara's cheek, a soft kiss for greeting, before she sits up and reaches into the floor and comes back with a box she pulls open. ]

Ella: And I brought breakfast! There's no working on an empty stomach at joyella.

[ An impatient bark ruffs from a little distance away, and Ella rolls down the partition between them and the front seat just enough for Ozzie's white blonde head to pop through. ]

Ella: Oh! And that's Ozzie! Ozzie, this is Dara.

F2F * DARELLA

[ Ella can't stop fiddling with the radio controls. She's sure the driver in the front seat is more than a little annoyed by her constantly changing the stations-- from traditional Christmas to Top 40 Christmas to Holiday Hitz and back again-- but she's antsy. Being driven in LA traffic isn't exactly a common thing for her, so she's not sure what to do with herself. She's already eaten two danishes, and all it's done is give her a sugar rush with nowhere to go. ]

[ But she wants to make a good impression with Dara. So she's surprising the model on their first morning into the studio. The test shots they whipped up last night were mostly frivolous. Testing the lighting and making marks accounting for Dara's physique and height. Today they'll get into the meat of it all. ]

[ The towncar rolls to a smooth stop at the front door of the hotel, and Ella adjusts herself on the seat in anticipation. ]
