I have an eating disorder, and have alway just generally been a fussy eater. Last month I had an emergency operation to remove my large intestine. Since that means I physically can't eat certain foods now, it's thrown my plans of becoming vegan out of the window - I've tried to explain this to people but I've been told so many times "you shouldn't have had the op if you knew that then." Like, I'd be... dead if I didn't have it. As much as I'd like to be vegan, I just can't now.
