Hello!!

I feel like the only guy who loves Rides Again (Magic School Bus).

One of my science teachers (my favorite of all time) showed the class (including me) an episode of Rides Again.

When I saw the episode, I fell in love with the series.

Now, I remember watching the original series when I was way younger...

...as well as learning about the history of people who hate reboots when I got older...

...but I don't really understand how anyone could hate Rides Again.

To each their own, I guess.

TL;DR: I love Rides Again and if it has no fans, I'm dead.

• Valarie knew before Fiona did because Fiona would spend twenty minutes describing a woman she met and somehow never realize she was crushing.

• Full on lesbian

• The class found out that hen they saw a pride pin in the bus, and Fiona only hid it because of how mosey the group is

• Fiona is a huge hand holder.

• Keeps little things or any kind of gift her loved ones give her.

• If someone asked, she’d answer honestly. She could care less what people think.

• The type to accident gets feelings for her best friend

• She’s a great listener

• Remembers everything, especially the tiny stuff

• Not all that awkward or shy around someone she likes, but if someone is intentionally being flirty, depending on who, she may get a little flustered

• does not tolerate trying to fake sick and will immediately send her partner to bed, then proceed to get medicine, cook, and everything. She, on the other hand, doesn’t get very sick, but on the rare occasion she does, she tries to play it off and gets the same treatment

• Loves a lady’s laughter for some reason she can’t really understand

• If married she usually calls her wife my darling, my love, and other stuff like that, or their nickname

• Very observant

• doesn’t often date unless she really sees potential, or is sure of their personality

• Figured herself out way before Fiona even acknowledged her interest in woman

• Also comfortable about how she is but doesn’t go off yapping about it

• Very intentional

• Never forgets anniversaries.

• If she’s married, also big physical affection with hand holding, or having an arm on the shoulder

• Softer with her wife

• Loves confidence, not arrogance

• Very patient

• admirer from across the room type

• Once she’s committed, she gets very protective

• If she likes someone, their name might come up often, but sounds natural

• loves someone passionate and comfortable with themselves

• Loves to bother and tease her lover.

• Faking sick = being read to, medicine, a good book, and being hummed to sleep

• Brings off gifts with a huge meaning.

•She’s hilarious when she’s acting (she used to be a Shakespearean actress)

What if Kate is Dora but from another world/universe?

Kate actually isn’t from Dora’s world

Universe? Unknown. I don’t really know how it works and I’m a bit confused with the difference, but Kate was originally a knight from a story book. It isn’t known if they made it that she came to live in Dora’s world, was just created as if she always was an actual person in the universe, or the writers just slipped it in.

In the Dora The Explorer Crystal Kingdom episode, Dora, Boots, and Alley meet Kate while retrieving the yellow (I think) crystal. She’s was introduced as a brave knight with a heavy (British I think) accent. In the Dora’s Explorer Girls special in 2012 that got canceled (I’ll insert the link at the end) Kate was introduced as a girl Dora met in the city. I also know that Kate was introduced the books, but I never read any. Then comes the spin off, Dora and Friends: Into the City, where Kate is probably most popular from and has her main voice actor, Isabela Merced. Then in the actual series of Dora the Explorer, Kate is shown in a musical episode in the last season with the voice actor of Sofia Singer, which isn’t much important to my claim but if you have theories from this you can add whatever. That’s where Kate’s journey ends for now in the canon Dora the Explorer franchise.

Isabela Merced

Isabela Merced plays a center roll in my whole idea where it came from.

Dora and Friends and Dora and the Lost City of Gold are two different universes if that isn’t obvious. Dora moved into the city at 10 or 9 in DAF while she moved into the city at 16 or 15 (I think) in DATLCOG. DAF takes place in the future of the original series. In DAF, Kate’s voice actor is Isabela Merced.

Coincidentally, Dora’s actor in DATLCOG is Isabela Merced. If the story books exist in the LCOG universe, maybe Kate exists there too, but she never left the story book and remained in Dora’s childhood. But I really thought that was big, and that’s why I took 20 minutes to write this at 11 at night 🥹

Dora and Kate

Dora and Kate are already a lot alike. They’re both very energetic, brave, and a whole bunch of other stuff I don’t wanna write. They have a few differences but they’re more similar than different. This gave me the impression that Kate from the story book was simply the Dora of her world existing within the universe. Most of the time when Dora meets characters from a story book, they end up being the main character or most important person in their world and often are a lot like her. Say Sabrina the Snow Princess, or the princess from Dora and Friends. The episode is called The Royal Ball. The princess they meet at the end looks like Dora in a few ways, and even shares the same phrase from the same person. Coincidentally, both of their grandmother taught them a phrase.

Overall, this was probably a little bad and heavily unsupported because it was a shower thought and I wrote this in half an hour because I didn’t want to lose the idea. If you have opionions, let me know or reblog/@ me if you add to this.

Jaylene U. Renae: Alternatives!

I was bored and I’m tryna post more so I’m trying to make my ocs. The lighter skinned one is how she was imagined and described because in writing, I described her like this. It also features other things added to this version, like the bit of orange/ginger hair which can be theorized until I explain :) this alternative is mainly for MSB.

The darker skinned one is more wide universe spread so she could be used in multiple au’s, simply with different outfits. She’s how I drew Jaylene out. I tried not to make them look too similar, because they’re the same person but if I end up making them two different versions of Jaylene, there’s more differences.

What episode of the Magic School Bus series is the most memorable to you and why? For me, it's "Hops Home" as it had two moments where Wanda and Arnold were in water.

Magic School Bus

In the City was really big for me. Loved that episode and couldn’t get enough of it. It was really an experience for once where Ms. Frizzle seemed even a little worried. All the kids really had to work together and kept hope strong, like when Dorothy Ann was telling Carlos not to eat the smaller bird because they would find the bus.

I would imagine like maybe in cutscenes where some of the kids are worried and raccoon Frizzle maybe like giving them a pat on the shoulder, a hug, or just reassuring them while maybe even reassuring herself a little.

And it felt like the happy ending of a movie at the end of the episode.

Magic School Bus: Rides Again

Fav Episode gotta be In the Zone. It was so heartfelt and again, it was a time when everyone really at risk. They didn’t lose the bus this time, but they were at risk of losing its magic.

Fiona was abt to cry, and she really needed that hug. Sweetest thing ever 🥹🥹🥹

Have you ever wanted to imagine cartoon characters appearing in a movie you like? For me, I've been wanting to imagine Dora and her friends in the 1995 film Congo.

Not really, but I think it'd be super cool if Naiya, Kate, Alana, Pablo, and Emma were in one of the Dora live action movies.

hey guys! I’ve been rlly busy lately. I promise I’m still working in the MSB thing but I’m also doing a big project prior to my YouTube channel. It’s a series and I’m gathering opinions so it’s out and I can hurry and finish up the MSB fic. I’d like some of you guys’s opinions on it. I have three variations. One being completely my own and the other being two being inspired/spinoffs of a series.

Summary: Jaylene Woodson, better known as Lenie, is the new girl at Willow Creek Middle School and wants a simple school year. Too bad she won't. Her calmness and lack of reaction to pretty much everything has intrigued the popular kids. Now she's dragged into all their drama, as her own secrets are also revealed. Will Lenie come out of her shell? Or stay mysterious?

Summary: It's a new year at Walkervile Elementary School, Jaylene Renae, better known as Lenie, wants to have a normal school year. No drama, no crazy things, yet she already knows that won’t be happening. She’s been gang on out of the ordinary field trips since she was in preschool. Even though her mom, Fiona Frizzle, is retiring and going on to continue in her own magical adventures there is still another trizek down the line. Her cousin,  Dottie Frizzle is taking the wheel Things get Interesting when there is another Frizzle around. The trips don't get any less out of the ordinary for Lenie and her classmates as their 6th grade year is more hectic than ever.

Middle Schooler Jaylene Woodson, plans to have a normal school year in Paris, France. There hasn’t been any miraculous sightings for the past 12 years. She wants to have the best school year in middle school without any drama at all. When she helps the famous wife of Adrien Agreste, Marinette Agreste, cross the streets and hide from wandering fans of the fashion designer, she shows her kindness and worth of being a miraculous wielder. Not only that, but she goes to the same school as the Agreste twins, Emma and Hugo. Through them, Marinette learns that this girl isn’t just acting kind for show, but truly is a kind person. Not only does she get into all the drama and is friends with the Agreste siblings, but is the new wielder of the Ladybug Miraculous.

MSB fans, dw 🥹🥹, I’m almost done w/ chapter 4

Have you ever misheard a song lyric, thinking the singer was saying something else? Seeing as you are into the Magic School Bus, I'll use that show's theme song as an example. When I was a kid, I misheard "An octopus in the neighborhood?" as if it were talking about a mermaid that ended with an "uh huh." Now that I'm older, I can hear the actual lyrics clearly.

Yeah actually 😂, in the Dora and Friends intro when it said “Canta Conmigo!” (Which means sing with me) I had always thought it said “Vamos Amigos”
