trees are very š„ŗ because sometimes iāll stand under the shade of a tree andĀ look up at it and itāll sway its branches about in the wind and iām like oh my God iām alive and YOUāRE alive. we are alive together and made up of the same starry stuff and standing right next to each other in this moment on this earth. do u feel it when i reach out and press my hand to your trunk? can you hear me? i think youāre so neat. and then the sunlight filters through its leaves just so and that lovely green color leaves me dazzled. itās just very nice to be an alive thing next to a different sort of alive thing

Youāve heard of āi didnāt say it was good, i said i liked it,ā get ready for āi said it had some technical problems & didnāt fully deliver on its themes, not that i didnāt like itā
#I voiced a criticism of some of its aspects#which in no way implies I did not like it#āand especially does not imply that I would like to hear a defense of it of the form 'shut up and let people have fun'ā

Omg can you and everyone butch8ng about rivals just shut the fuck up! Get over yourselves. It ain't about you for fucks sake. God damn š¤¦āāļø
Quick PSA: you can just scroll on an app like tumblr or any other social media and read/interact only with the posts that donāt make you insult someone! Hope that helps šš¼
I never expected groundbreaking things from rivals. Itās entertaining, has decent actors and terrible writing but thatās okay for a (tragic, sexy,?) comedy.
I didnāt expect it to DISAPPOINT me so deeply, though. I was mostly indifferent so far, only followed it half heartedly, skipped scenes, etc. because of course itās valid to like/donāt like media.
But to take a middle aged sapphic coded character and kill her off without ANY need (itās not in the books either) and to then end it solely on her scumbag husbandās reaction left me speechless and angry.
I know it may not be āthat deepā for some but as a queer woman in todayās society it just feels like a slap in the face. We finally get an admirable, older lesbian character (unexpected from a show like this) just to have her killed for shock value.
If sheās truly dead and not faking her death, then thanks rivals for truly reviving the 80s š« not like societyās progressed towards those values in the last few years anyway ā¦
theyre saying you have to go to work again tomorrow even though you just went today
They killed a lesbian woman who suffered her whole life in a shitty marriage to a shitty man DURING PRIDE MONTH.
Don't call me. Don't contact me. I'm going to bed.
shows really can be misogynistic, queerphobic AND badly written but still be massively successful as long as thereās a lot of straight sex, huh
