this summer we will be devouring good literature, stay hydrated and most importantly be unbothered
in another universe, I stop dreaming of the closure I’m never going to get
When you're in the stationery shop and the urge to hoard aesthetic notebooks kicks in
Muted wildflowers. Coffee rings. Impressions on your face from where your glasses were. Bitten lips. Dark whispers. Red stained white shirts. The scent of old books. Silk wrapped around your chest. Dark eyes with golden sparks.
Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha (1922)
11. ~winter aesthetic~
scarves wrapped up so tightly only your eyes peak out. books about abstract art. long evenings spent writing. pulling the covers over your shoulders so they won't be touched by the cold. wearing 2 pairs of socks. thinking about graduating. applying for summer jobs. loosing your gloves. red knuckles and chapped lips. seeing everybody talk about star wars while you are on a star trek frenzy. changing calendars. discussing literature. foggy glasses. pitch black streets. jackets and heavy coats. worrying about grades.

winter aesthetic
Sweaters slightly too big worn over a button up shirt. Black tea with honey. The increased gravitational pull of the bed in those early mornings when it's still dark. Black overcoats with colourful scarves. Sharing a hot cocoa on a study session with friends. Numb hands that can't work the calculator or hold a pen. Forgotten gloves by a library chair. Wishing the cold wind could stay round all year.
me?? actually posting pics of my bullet journal?? pretty wild, I know.
it's time to fall in love with yourself.

apps for students
Hi all, these are the apps on my phone that really help me study.
1. Forest ($1.99). This app is a timer and when you turn the timer on, you will start plan a tree, if you try to use your phone, you would kill a tree. An alternative for this app is called Flora but it’s free.
2. Quizlet (Free). If you are learning new vocabs, this app helps you to create digital flashcards and quizzes so you can test yourself afterward.
3. Duolingo (Free). This is a language app. I use Duolingo to learn Spanish and Mandarin.
4. Dictionary (Free). Yes, it is a dictionary app, there is also a thesaurus inside so you can search for the word meaning but also synonyms and antonyms.
5. OneNote (Free). This is a note-taking app. I sometimes take notes on iPad and it syncs with my phone so I’m able to review my notes when I have free time like sitting on the bus. This app also allows you to have different notebooks for each of the subjects and create a new page for new lessons.
you were meant to see this post. this post showed up on your screen for a reason. you are loved. whatever issue you may be going through right now, whether it be school or family or love, it will pass. it will pass, and you will be okay in the end. you will survive this.
Wake up without feeling tired
1. Follow your sleep pattern. If you stick to time go to bed and wake up without the alarm, you would not feel tired.
2. Try to get enough sleep as much as possible (from 7 to 9 hours of sleep for teenagers)
3. Sleep hygiene. Read a book, take a bath, or listen to some music. And at all costs, stay away from screens. Good hygiene would create a better and higher quality of sleep for a restful night!
4. Get sunlight in the morning. Taking a walk under the morning sun would be good for your mood.
5. Have breakfast. Absorb energy right in the morning would make your body feel refreshed.
6. Choose a good alarm song. If you are going to have an alarm the next day, make sure the sound would be natural to wake up.
