I'm a full time student and tutor attending Boston U and I have to say it's pretty nice here. “That is even worse.” He murmured as he looked down at the shiny plastic before back at her. “You don’t ever need to be embarressed about that. You’d beat something most people can’t. People who will find it odd are not even worth the story or attention.” Evan smiled somewhat comforting before taking her in his broad arms. “I’m glad you sruvived. I wouldn’t have a sarcastic hangover room mate now.”

“It just sucks most of the time, no clubbing, no dancing, no ice skating, roller blading, skiing, karate, all the things i used to do are just-” she shrugged then smiled a bit as he hugged her. SHe hugged him back and rubbed his back even if she felt awkward talking about it. “Thanks Ev,” she said sitting back on the couch. “I keep it on most of the time so you shouldn’t have a shock or anything.”

  “What no!  I’m having so much fun!”  He pulled away from her and stumbled, falling on the couch and across the other high people there.  He giggle snorted and looked u pat her.  “Come join use.  Mark- Mark-, Matt, Matt has more… somewhere.  Where is Mark?”  He frowned and looked around him.  “Stay Elli!”

Ellison hoisted him back up and shook her head.

“You’ve had your fun, it’s been a week with no call, no text, nothing, I spent three days looking for you and now it’s time to come home,” she said more sternly as she steadied him back she could on her own wobbly legs. Supporting a man of his size with a prosthetic was hard and it wasn’t helping that bodies were jostling into them every other minute. “Nicky, we’re going HOME, it’s time to leave,” she demanded giving him a determined look.

Nick blinked up at her, his mind foggy from the drugs.  “Ellison?  ellison!”  He grinned stupidly and threw his arms out.  “Hi!”  He currently wasn’t aware how long it had been since they last saw each other.  He thoguht it had only been a few hours.

Ellison stumbled as he hugged her and she almost lost her balance, being without a leg did that to her a lot. 

She rubbed his back and straightened, pulling him to his feet. 

“Where have you been? I’ve looked everywhere for you! I’m taking you home,” she told him taking his hand and tugging him behind her a bit.

Nick had been a history major at Boston U and had made friends with Ellison.  He thought she was cool.  Nick had moved there from Germany when he was eighteen and got caught up with the wrong people.  He had gotten hooked on drugs but used when he went partying.

For the past four years it had been steadily getting worse until he just stopped coming to classes half way through first semester.

Ellison made her way through the rave, avoiding bodies rubbing against once another and people thrashing to the heavy base. She peered through laser lights and glow sticks haze until she spotted him on a couch in the corner.

She hated clubs, she couldn’t dance well with her prosthetic and since she didn’t like people knowing about it, she never went to clubs but it had been three weeks since heard from Nick and she was worried.

“Nick!” she shouted over the music when she was in front of him. SHe waved a hand in front of his face. “Nick!”

Slowly he turned around to face her again. “Doesn’t it make you uncomfortable I don’t like. To put you in that place.” He murmured as he then sighed. “How come?”

“I’m more uncomfortable when people openly ignore it and pretend it’s fine,” she admitted looking at him. She pushed her hair back and looked at her leg propped on the table. “People assume the worst, like drunk driving accident or some torturer that kidnapped me and I went through some horrible ordeal but um- I had cancer when I was teenager and it got my leg,” she hiked the pant leg up to show the shiny plastic. “From the knee down.”

He didn’t made a comment at all, maybe that was the best about him, whenever noticing people weren’t quite feeling comfortable, he just didn’t ask but tried to brighten their mood. “Then we watch Annabelle.” Evan smirked as he patiently peeked through the movies as he finally found it and turned it on.

Ellison shifted on the couch and looked at Evan. “I know you’ve noticed,” she said slowly as she absently rubbed her temple and eyed him distractedly. “My leg I mean- you can ask. I would if I were you, and I’d rather you ask than make believe that it’s normal.”

Evan smirked, resting his elbow on her shoulder. “Hangover is a bitch.” But she found that one out by now. He just hoped he didn’t need to clean up her vomit. “Dolls are good. Annabelle? Or the woman in black 2?” With a smile he lift her up to settle her on the couch, laying a blanket over her as he pouted the slightest. “May the hangover be ever in your favour.”

Ellison tensed as Evan scooped her up and carried her to the couch, she did her best to keep her prosthetic from hitting him but she had no way of holding it up so she just hope he wouldn’t mention it. She settled on the couch and propped her heels on the coffee table in front of her, covering with her favorite blanket. “Oh oh Annabelle! I love Annabelle!” she cheered and then winced. “And vicodin or like a brick to the head.”

“So is that a yes to hanging out?”

“If you think you can keep up with me, then yeah sure- we can hang out.”

"Okay fine will be your Dean Winchester. God you made me watch those series too often." He murured before he tipped her nose with bacon. "Definitely no Disney. I can’t hear those songs one more time." A deep sigh left his lips as he looked towards Ellison. "Any requests my lady?"

“Look for those bear necessities, the simple bear necessities forget about your worries and your strife,” she sang gradnly before wincing at the ache in her head. “Ah body fighting back, go on, without me,” she dropped her head to a clean part of the counter and then shrugged her shoulders helplessly. “Something not gory or I may throw up on you so- Dead Silence? With the dolls? Or the Grudge?”

Evan rose one eyebrow, shaking his head in amuse. “Hmm.” He hummed innocently whilst now nibbling on his own piece of bacon. “I mean our own party. Scary movies or so?” Which turned more into a comedy the more scared she got, at least, for him.

“oh, ooohhhh, oh,” she winced and then settled back on the stool at the bar. “Forget that I was plotting your demise, that is totally doable. But you have to be my Lancelot and save me from all the ghosties, NO my Dean Winchester. Can you be my Winchester?” she asked narrowing her eyes at him skeptically. “Cuz I won’t settle for less, it’s Winchester or Team Free Will or we’re watching Disney.”

“You going to stop being a self-righeous asshole to me every time we’re in public?” she asked with a snide smile, twirling the keys around her finger innocently.

"Hmm. Definitely." Of course he didnt believe it, he leaned in and took a bite of her bacon, whereby breaking a rule, never touch Ellison her bacon. He wiggled his eyebrows before leaning back and grabbed some more food. "You know, let’s have a party tonight." Of course he had something else in mind, but he just wanted to see her reaction.

Ellison’s jaw dropped when Evan leaned forward and stole a bite of her bacon. “Oh, ooooh, how dare you sir?” she asked in a dark tone and giving him a look. “Now I have no other alternative but to-” she splashed water in his face, it was like four drops but the action held enough drama to sate Ellison. She stared at him when he mentioned a party and immediately went to looking around the table for something to hurl at his head.

He laughed on her words, honestly nearly choking on it. “You say now. You know how I had those days, Friday and Saturday; fuck yes. Sunday; I’m dying, never again. Monday; Nope I swear not. Tuesday; hmm doing better. Wednesday; oh well yeah I could drink again. Thursday; Tomorrow is the day! And like that all over again.” He rose an eyebrow before shaking dismissively his head. “I’ll take care of you.”

“I don’t like being drunk,” she frowned, “I apparently let people kiss me at three in the morning.” She took a nibble of the bacon and a I bite of toast. Closing her eyes, she was grateful her head was a dull throb that a jackhammer. She looked at Evan and used her bacon to point at him. “Never. Again. I’m drinking water for the rest of my life- flavored water. Like Sobe or tea.”

"I know I am. The mirror blinds me every time." There his ego went ahead again. "Don’t it!" Yet she already drank it. "Was still standing on the table from last night. Alcohol." Evan continued with a shaking head. "Obviously." Evan took some bite of his scrambled eggs before frowning. "I know. You said that like. Ten times last night? I had to stay sober to see you like that."

She put the juice down and gagged again, shaking her head and pushing it further down the table. “Awful, just awful,” she commented before turning her attention to her bacon. “Do you know how often I get drunk?” she asked leaning closer, “Never! I never get drunk! It’s like seeing a unicorn, a disturbing and magical thing you’ll never see again.” She shook her head and took another strip of bacon. “No, never again.”

"Of course I can cook. Mostly. I just like your meals better so claimed I can’t." His lips curled up to the side as he stood up, smiling. "Lots of toast." He repeated as he exited the room, soon getting some huge breakfast done.

"I hope.. That this is eatable." Evan smirked as he sat down at the kitchen table, sipping from his coffee. "Jeez you really look awful."

“And you’re a Greek God,” she retorted sarcastically as she stiffly made her way to the bar in the kitchen. “Ugh, I’ll never drink punch again,” she groaned and then perked, “Oh look juice,” she poured herself some, drinking half of it in one go. She made a face and gagged. “Ew, okay toast and is that bacon?” she grabbed a strip and nibbled. Her stomach protested but her mouth plead for more. “Bless your sober soul you sweet angelic Adonis.”

“Second option.” Abby laughed as she took another drag before passing it off to someone walking by, more interested in having a conversation instead of getting high. “Um, I’m not a student anywhere, but I was in Boston for the weekend for work and my best friend knew someone here and blah blah so on.” She looked around as well, letting out a heavy sigh. “Yeaaaah. You’re right there, it is a lame party. Which is a total shame.”

“You worked at Boston, well hellp you are looking at the next Dean’s List occupier in all thing worldly,” she did a little dip best she could sitting in the chair and she winced when someone bumped the table her leg was stretched under causing an uncomfrtable jolt. SHe pushed it off and looked at Abby. “We could probably throw a better party, I at least have food and video games. You like mario? I got Super Mario Bros, best game ever okay? I could kick all their asses.”
