Insulation Jackets

Elmec Insulation jackets are made up of 3 layers. Inner layer is made of fibre glass cloth, Middle layer is made of 50 mm thick fibre blanket, Top layer is made of abrasion proof glass fabric which resists both dirt and plastic material. All these material can withstand temp upto 600° C. These insulation jackets are made with holes and cutouts wherever it is required and so it is easy to install over the barrels of Injection, Extrusion and Blow molding machines.

Mica Flat heaters

Elmec flat heaters & Heating Frames are available in any dimensions. They can be delivered in Mica or Ceramic insulation, depending on the temperature requirement. We built every technically possible heaters as per your requirement.

Medium Density Cartridge Heaters

Elmec Low Density Cartridge Heaters are made of helically wound nickel chrome resistance wire evenly stretched and placed in ceramic insulators.

Elmec Low Density Cartridge  Heaters are custom made and are used in various applications including heating Plastic Extruder machine Barrels, Dies, Mould, Compression Moulds, Rubber Moulding machines, Leather press, Printing and packaging industries.

We use high quality Steatite insulators, Nichrome resistance wires. Outer sheath is available in Brass and SS 304. Terminal leads are FG insulated or Teflon insulated and come with a standard length of 300mm. Please specify while sending enquiry if you need longer terminal leads.

Flat heaters

Elmec mineral filled heaters are designed and developed to replace Mica Strip heaters. These heaters provide trouble free long lasting service even at high temperatures and watt density. Helically wound coil is placed inside a tube filled with MgO and pressed to get a flat surface.

MICA Band Heaters

Elmec Mica Band heaters are made of Nickel Chrome resistance ribbon precisely wound on specially selected Mica or Micanite sheet. It is then insulated and covered by metal sheathing and rolled to the required shape. We build every technically possible heaters as per your requirement.

Elmec Mica band heaters are custom made and are used in various applications including heating plastic machine barrels, Dies, nozzles, drum heating, Pipe heating, etc.,

We use high quality Mica, Micanite sheets , Nichrome resistance  wires for serving moderate  temperature applications. Mica heaters are suitable for a maximum of  280 deg cen. consult us if your  requirement is above 280 deg cen.
