Spirit Animal - Hei'an Yun's spirit animal, Baixue. She's a pterolycus bearing Yun's mark on her forehead, being his loyal companion for as long as he lives. When she was only a cub, she chose Yun as her spiritual companion after he became an immortal, their disposition linking them together. Apart from flight, she shares the same powers as Yun and she's big enough to carry him on her back. If the immortal perishes, their spirit animal perishes with them.

Marks of Immortality (Present Timeline) - The Immortal Nexus is a rare phenomenon among the immortals, as it's only used through the power of strong intimacy and willpower. As the marks of immortality unite, they create a link that bind the two people in body and soul. When Hei'an Yun found out the truth about Huoyan Liu's betrayal, he went berserk and fought with him. Being overwhelmed with madness and grief, he fell from the cliff and Liu jumped after him. He tried to find him in the deep waters and managed to do so as Yun's immortality symbol glowed. Liu grabbed him and swam to the seashore, finding out his heartbeats were weakening. He used the Immortal Nexus to save him, draining his immortal power for him. Liu's immortality symbol is on his chest whereas Yun's is on his forehead.

Resentment (Present Timeline) - "This is what the Ice Clan, what your clan, has become. Everyone was eliminated, leaving nothing but ruins covered in snow, forgotten in the passage of time. And who was responsible for that? Your so-called friend did all this, Huoyan Liu with his Fire soldiers. He didn't tell you anything, did he? He left his best friend to perish at the hands of his army and now that you've been found alive after 6 years, he hasn't told you anything of his crimes, wanting to start anew. Can't you see he's taking advantage of your memory loss?" He approached him slowly, looking at him askance. "Well, Hei'an Yun... do you remember now?"
