My last post about Pixal’s hair but add a lil Pixane✨

I was super proud f this exploration I did with Pixal from ninjago

I played around with creating robotic versions of Afro hairstyles

There’s her cord locs which I normally draw her with

A coily puff made from platinum coils

And then my absolute fave LIGHT BULB BANTU KNOTS

Oh also I used her circuit face pattern to make edges!

I’m hoping to try more so if anyone has any suggestions I’d love to hear them!

Here is an animatic I made for Spinjitzu Society’s SigFig tournament on Instagram!

It takes place after Wyldfyer’s fight with Cinder in DR season 2 part 2 where Elo (aka me) is fed up with Cinder trash talking her friends so she promises to give her match with Cinder all the power she has… but she loses cuz of shatter spin 😭

I am indeed able to satiate your need for Pixal centric ninjago content…. Bad news there’s a lot of sadness involved

No the sadness isn’t based around Zane’s development at all

In fact here Zane helps to progress Pix’s story

Just a Father and Daughter sharing a Precious Pink Appreciation Moment and a Mother capturing the memory! I have been so busy with final projects and other important art stuff I gotta get done so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to submit a piece for this ,but thankfully @phibsiespam was so kind to extend the deadline!

I love ninjago and I love IceCat Duo and the… hmm I’m not sure if there’s a name but I’ll call it the Didgi-Cat trio! I love the idea of Pixal and Zane adopting Sora because I feel can relate to her feeling like an outcast (Found family coded TwT)

I had fun drawing this and it reminds me I needa get back into ninjago fanart and fanart in general lol

I feel like pixal has a fear of lightning because of this scene alone

As soon as she heard lightning she got closer to Zane. Probably for comfort since he’s holding her and looks sad ( maybe cause he doesn’t like seeing his wife scared?)

I’m definitely just overanalysing this but pixal being scared of lightning and zane is always comforting her is my new headcanon

Splatoon x Ninjago Part 2: Inkling Nya 💧 🦑

Drawing her was so fun! Doing this and other artwork recently has made me realize I don’t share a lot of art of fandoms I’m in. I hope I can draw in the ninjago and splatoon fans >:D

This was so fun! Splatoon and ninjago are my two favorite interests so to be able to draw them side by side makes me so happy. I used to be scared of drawing inklings and octolings because I was worried my art style wouldn’t capture the stylization of them right but honestly yall take this as your sign to always try no matter what

Imma draw Nya next to keep the Smith siblings together
