A lollipop rested on the flat of her tongue and a book that was falling apart at the seams rested between her delicate fingers. Quinn hummed an old tune but stopped abruptly upon hearing the voice of her friend. The young female dogeared the page and settled the novel safely on the center of the counter. The lollipop was pulled free from her mouth, revealing the color to be blue. “Uh, sure. Why not.”
With a wide grin on her face, Elora turned grabbing her pens before walking over to her. Gently wrapping her small fingers around the girls wrist she set her arm so it was easy for her to draw on. “I’m going to draw stars and little planets.” She said, picking up her black pen, pulling the cap off. “Is that okay?” She asked, looking up for approval before she would begin. “I can draw anything else you want me to, like flowers or anything.”
