Now I'd like to repeat the experience I shared with you, if you want of course! So I'd like to make you a proposal.

As I said, regarding the apples, you can also request people who aren't part of the Rammboys, those who most intrigue you, whether they're fictional or existing characters.

The same goes for the Tiny characters: you can request a character of your choice, and I'll try to represent it as best I can.

The resulting drawings will be entirely yours, and you can do whatever you want with them!

Now, in the requests, you can request a Tiny and an apple one at a time. If you want another, do it like last year, where you sent a second request for a different character. That way, I can organize things.

Exceptionally, you can request a Tiny and an apple in the same request.

The third character in the Roma Au series is our gladiator Till!

Till has many doubts about his future, doubts that Paul will shake up in his reality. Because the future isn't always written, right?

Here too, we have two versions: the first during his time as a barbarian and the second during his time as a gladiator!

I let my imagination wander again but I hope you like it! <3

Unlike almost all other gladiator categories (such as the Samnite, the Gaul, or the Thracian), which arose by imitating the soldiers of foreign peoples conquered by Rome, the Retiarius has no military or ethnic origins. He was introduced into the gladiatorial games relatively late, around the 1st century a.d (in the midst of the imperial period). The organizers of the games were seeking a novelty that would break the monotony of the classic symmetrical clashes between heavily armored warriors. They thus decided to create a stark visual and conceptual contrast, introducing a fighter inspired by the allegorical figure of the sea fisherman.

In the first decades of its emergence, the figure of the Retiarius was strongly stigmatized and despised by the traditional Roman mentality. With the consolidation of this discipline, the Retiarius underwent a complete reversal of its reputation, becoming one of the most beloved and idolized classes in the arena.

Here we are again, my stars! While the second chapter of Invictus is cooking, I'm here to show you one of our gladiators. Our proud Oliver, who with his spear defeats all his enemies as if it were an extension of his arm. He hasn't fully revealed himself yet, but soon he too will have his place in history and will truly demonstrate his worth.

In this case, I wanted to create two versions, one before and one after the capture, wanting to stretch my creativity a bit. I don't think this type of hairstyle existed in the history of Germania Magna, but how can I not imagine it like this?

The spear-wielding gladiator par excellence is the Oplomachus. His name derives from the Greek and literally means "he who fights with weapons." Visually, he is one of the most spectacular gladiators because his style reflects the aesthetic of the legendary Greek hoplites or the warriors of Thrace. At the beginning of Roman history, these gladiators were actual prisoners of war from Greece or the East. Over time, the class became a technical specialization taught in the ludi (gladiatorial schools) even to chosen slaves or free men seeking ransom.

I spent a weekend even further south than where I currently live in Southern Italy, specifically in Diamante, a Calabrian town famous for its street art and chili peppers. Hello, fellow travelers of the internet, and welcome once again! 💖

Even though I originally had different plans for this month's event, I've realized that my new commitments won't allow me to finish the project the way I initially envisioned it. So, for now, I'm putting it aside until I have a clearer idea of how I want to bring it to life. Instead, I've spent my time working on something that has been making me much happier lately, and giving my hand an excuse to explore this new art style that I've been really enjoying these past few weeks.

This month is about being proud of ourselves: proud of who we are, who we love, and the many ways we choose to express that love freely and openly ❤️

And for me, music is part of that love too. Music has allowed me to meet some of the most incredible people I could ever wish for, many of whom are part of this fandom and have made this journey even more special.

With this Tiny Family piece, the current ones, I wanted to celebrate that feeling! The kind of love they share through music feels universal to me, a love that doesn't recognize boundaries, labels, or limits 💕
