Gearbox is up to stuff, and it doesn’t look like good stuff.
Fans of retro shooters might do well to start archiving EDuke32 mods, maps, and TCs before it’s too late.
Randy Pitchford needs to eat shit and die already. What an absolutely abhorrent company Gearbox is.
Everybody please reblog this. Let the world see what scum Gearbox are.

Did you know that at least one piece of source code from the very beginning of Id Software managed to survive at least all the way into the Doom 3 codebase?
P_NewChaseDir is a function that is best known for being the core of Doom’s “pathfinding” (to use the term loosely) for monsters. The function appears to have first appeared in Pascal form in Catacomb as “chaseTHINK”, was re-written into C for Hovertank 3D, and seems to have appeared in most of Id’s engines since then (with the exception of Quake 3, naturally) under varying names, right up to Doom 3's “idAI::NewWanderDir”. Often with the same variable names and comments!
I wonder if this tiny fragment of code has survived into 2016…?
Discovered by Quasar and Blzut3. Thanks to Cat Mattress for showing me this!

I always enjoyed the premis of Re-Volt, was a pretty good looking game at the time too.
