ADELEI MEADOWS

Adelei Meadows was born in a quaint little town outside of the city. His father passed away when Adelei was still an infant due to a work incident, leaving just him and his mother, who suffered from illness.

Growing up, Adelei worked underneath his mother as an apothecary doctor, and he spent his youth studying and practicing. His mother passed when he was 14 years old, prompting Adelei to move to a new, larger town known as Nettlebrook. Between dealing with his struggling business and his genetic disease, Adelei met Irene Meadows, the noble daughter of the family that ran Nettlebrook.

At the age of 20, Adelei's disease rapidly progressed, and Irene revealed herself as a vampire, turning the boy to keep him alive, despite it going against his wishes.

Adelei, now turned into a vampire and suffering from severe depression, locked himself away in the manor, too ashamed of what he had become to show himself to the public.

That is, until forty years later, he meets a local church boy named Elezar Lee.
