I've been wanting to draw Jane and the dragon stuff for awhile now but just didn't get to it but then I was listening to this music on YouTube and it made me think of Jane and the dragon and just had to draw something for it.

I built an island on Animal Crossing New Horizons and called it "Kippernium" after the Jane and the Dragon kingdom. Here is Jane's room, along with a few screen shot references I used while creating it. Jane is here too, she is the main villager on my island, and her outfit was created by Sarah from the Starshine island.

I'm not sure how many people who follow me (if any) have read the very long slowburn Janther fic I started publishing on FF.net in 2009 (inexplicably called "Yeah My Best Friend is a Dragon, So What?, because I was a kid and thought I was very funny 😩). It hasn't been updated for nearly 8 years, and though I've sporadically updated my profile page on FF.net on its status, that site has been falling apart for years now, so I thought I'd give an update here for once! Basically, I'm doing a gigantic rewrite of the pile of attempts at finishing it I've gotten through over the years, and hope to publish the rest of the chapters before the end of the year if not sooner. If you haven't read it before and are interested in it (first off, thanks!), but also maybe wait bc the first 21 chapters are being slightly edited too, so there will be changes happening there anyways. I also plan to crosspost it to Ao3 for anyone who is no longer a FF.net person (me lol). Whenever it's actually finished and I have a date set I'll update here again!

For Janther week day 2: flushed! I picture at some point in their 20s or so no one can be bothered to try to enforce a dress code for sparring anymore.

Anyways, not really sure what inspired me to draw this, but for some reason the prompt made me think this up, so I think that’s what counts lol @jantherweek

I kept tweaking this thing until my eyes hurt, but for some reason the quality is super blurry on here. I’m still getting used to digital art and Tumblr, my guess is that I made it too big. Sadly, I don’t really know how to fix it. If you have tips on digital art or Tumblr, I’d love to hear
