The Murdoch media empire is a vast and influential propaganda network that involves A LOT of local newspapers. They’re well known for two things: being unapologetically pro-Liberal cheerleaders (even bending backwards to praise them, regardless of what terrible things they do) and brainwashing your uncle into being racist and a climate denier. Given that they have such a massive hold on the media of Australia and use it to destroy rational thought and interfere with elections/democracy it’s about time we had a royal commission into media diversity. We need to examine the horrible flaws with so much concentrated power in the hands of one giant company.

Mr Kevin Rudd (yes that one) has started a petition just on that! And it’s an actual Parliament House petition so it will get a real response - unlike those change dot org petitions that no one ever reads or cares about. The government WILL actually be presented this one! SO SIGN AND SHARE!
