I am putting this blog on an indefinite low-activity/semi-hiatus. It’s at a point where being on here is super bad for my mental health, and I am getting fewer and fewer returns to the energy spent on here.

Obviously the old narrative/misconception about "having The Surgery" was uh. Stupid lol. The common refrain was "which one?" to emphasize transition doesn't work like that. But now we're living in "sex is an immutable Natural Fact" world and it's like well no actually. You're somehow wronger about how trans people's bodies work than you were before. There is no singular The Surgery because "sex" is made up of several different traits, nearly all of which are changeable, through surgery or hormones or even just exercising different muscle groups to change their appearance. "Buh chromosomes" you don't know what a chromosome is

this isn't jumping on you, either. you're having a very public meltdown over something, and are insisting on someone having a specific intention with words, and that is a person i do know. and while i know, i know how she comes across sometimes, i am gently telling you that the phrase used does not have, as a given, the intention or meaning that you are ascribing to it.
if you dont want people to comment, maybe keep this sort of thing private?
it's a pity im suddenly in the mood for soups and chowders, right as the weather warms up
chores day at the kall house. (named for the husband occupying it, who also built it). he does most of the work during the work-week, since i go to the office (our child there is older and more independent, and also kall is a house husband, and also also there's only one kid there) - so i try to catch the house up on anything he didn't have the wherewithal to do during the week on my weekends, give a big helping hand.
today is linen-changing day for our room, and im gonna sweep and mop.
