This Keto Mushroom and Sausage Pizza In A Bowl recipe is simple and only takes 15 minutes to make. It brings your favorite pizza flavors to a low-carb level. Sticking to the keto diet doesn't have to stop you from enjoying this quick and tasty pizza fix.
Ingredients: 1/2 lb ground Italian sausage. 1 cup sliced mushrooms. 1/4 cup chopped onions. 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: While the bowl is still hot, cook the ground Italian sausage on high for two minutes, or until it is fully cooked. Use a fork to break it up while it's cooking. Take the sausage out of the bowl and set it aside. Put the chopped onions, green bell pepper, and mushroom slices in the same bowl. Put the vegetable mix in the microwave and cook it on high for three to four minutes, or until the vegetables are soft and the extra water has evaporated. Move the cooked sausage back to the bowl with the other foods. Grate the Parmesan cheese and add it along with the dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. For another two minutes on high, or until the cheeses are melted and bubbly, put the mixture back in the microwave. If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish.
