Solid reasons why New Moon is a cinematic MASTERPIECE
Let me preface this post by saying when I read the books, Eclipse was actually my favorite of the books (i liked more wolf content in regards to quil and embry and imprinting stuff, the legends and backstory info, not the love triangle crud, for the record) followed by New Moon, Twilight and finally Breaking Dawn. Movies wise it goes New Moon first (obviously), Twilight, BD2, Eclipse, BD1. That being said… Buckle up! I’m about to tell you all the reasons I adore New Moon cinematically and why I think it’s the best movie of the franchise even though nobody asked me to!!

OKAY SO, this weekend I visited my best friend from middle school who I was obsessed with Twilight with and she uncovered some relics I had long since parted with. BEHOLD:

Fun Fact from my Twilight obsessed past #385
I wrote this in another post, but this is a legit thing and I need to write it in a separate post so here goes.
When I first read twilight back in 2006 (I would have been like 13). shortly thereafter, my best friend and I went to the Rennasaince Festival and while we were there, we saw this dude we thought looked like Jacob Black with the long hair and all that and so we straight up FOLLOWED HIM and TOOK PICTURES OF HIM with our way cool flip phone cameras.
That's right. We stalked this poor teenager kid because he looked like a fictional character.
I texted my friend moments ago to confirm this happened, and she reminded me that this was definitely before the movie had ever been casted so this POOR DUDE was just being stalked at some random festival by these two freakish teenagers obsessed with a book series. My friend told me our reasoning was that we thought he should play Jacob in the movie if they ever made one.
And THIS my friends is why teenagers scare the living shit out of everyone and shouldnt be aloud alone in public places. Not my proudest moment.
When I went to see the premiere of twilight in theaters, I was 15, and next door to our theater there was a Chinese restaurant so before we went to go wait in line for the premiere, my friends and I went to get Chinese food and I shit you not my best friend straight up smuggled in fried rice to twilight.
One of my best memories from that movie which I'll never forget is in the middle of Edward's bedroom scene, my friend leans over, bella is awkwardly being awkward about dancing with edward and what does my friend do? She reaches her arm out with friend rice takeout in hand and whispers, "fried rice?"
15 year olds, I tell ya. There's nothing like them.

SO as I has posted previously, when I (tried) to leave the fandom back in like... 2010 or something, I thought I threw out all my twilight shirts I had accumulated through the movies twilight-eclipse. HOWEVER, turns out my mom is way smarter than me and knew one day I would want them back for nostalgia purposes and saved them for me and presented them to me the other day and so now, I present to you, WAY TOO MANY shirts from Hot Topic, all wolf-pack related (because as my blog states, I am wolf-pack trash) with one, incredibly rare shirt I'm very proud of having because I'm pretty sure you probably cant find it like... anywhere. (Hint, it's my Embry Call one... Embry is my favorite character in the whole series so i saved him in my picture set for last) ENJOY.
remember when they came out with Jacob dolls and the tattoo was upside down and so they recalled them all to replace them with correct ones?
