Jake: How could that work?

Matt: I don’t know.  But if there was one person who could figure it out it’d be you.

Jake: Be honest with me, Matt.  Do you think, even if I wanted to, there was anything I could do to get Marley back?

Matt: No.

Jake: There you have it. Marley is the past.  Paulina is now and the future.

Jake: You got it.

Amanda: We all love her, and we want the best for her.

Jake: I promise you, I am going to try to do that.

Hannah: I have to admit, I did not like Jake at first.  But now that I’ve gotten to know him better, he’s kinda growing on me.

Paulina: Jake tends to do that.

Paulina: I’m touched, Iris.

Jake: Overwhelmed is more like it.  Shall we?  Go ahead.

Hannah: Are those things solid silver?

Iris: Sterling, of course, dear.  To match the character of the bride and groom.

Paulina: They’re lovely.  It’s very thoughtful of you Iris.

Iris: Oh, I just figured you might be able to use them.

Tom Welling Answers Clana vs. Clois Question at Awesome Con

My question is for Tom. Something I noticed is that, with Lana, it seems like Clark’s abilities always get in the way. It seems like he’s always scared that he’s going to hurt her both emotionally and physically. But then, when he gets with Lois, he embraces it all the way through. So what do you think has changed in the character that allows him to do that?

A lesser man would have answered this question in a way that took a swipe at one of the women. He kept it completely centered on Clark’s growth and maturity and ability to love and I love him for that.

I’ve given up at this point. I’ve had an embarrassing crush on this man since I was living in a dorm and my roommate bought me his picture at the campus poster sale. I don’t think it’s ever going to die. He does a good job of not running his mouth like a moron which helps the crush. He survived for a decade on a TV show without saying anything super offensive or fucking misogynist/stupid and other actors could take note. Ahem.

My crush on this man originated when we were literally all still using NAPSTER. NAPSTER, Natasha. The kids are all reading this right now like WTF is that?

Jake: I have decided that I can’t wait to marry Paulina.

Jake: I found this beautiful little chapel, right outside the city. And they have a cancellation week after next.
