Buuut while i'm at it, I offer you the HC that after all that happened between them, Dusknoir is sometimes so scared to touch Grovyle while he's sick (because he doesn't want to hurt him) that he just.... ends up hovering in sheer panic around the guy. Because if it's not a injury but just a result of his lifestyle... well. There's nothing to do but wait. And the gecko surely spent some time recovering from all the shit he went through and lack of sunlight.
