Hanna smiled and faced Emily, “A bet. Like if I win, you have to kiss me, on. the. lips.” Hanna giggled softly as she bit down on her lower lip, “And if you win.” She paused to see what Emily would bet if the blonde were to lose. This would be very interesting if Hanna won, she would be able to get a kiss from her best friend, that’s if the brunette would want to do that, if not Hanna would be fine with it. The blonde smiled as she thought of what else she could bet on in case Emily wasn’t okay with the whole kissing thing. Hanna was head over heels for this girl and she knew if she spoke about her feelings way back when, she knew she would get teased by Alison and get verbally abused by the other blonde. “I mean if you wanted to bet on anything else I’d be fine with it.” She smiled.

Emily laughed a little. "Because you have to win a bowling match to get me to do that," she teased. Admittedly, she was a bit nervous about kissing Hanna in a public place, though. "If I win, you have to.." she paused, contemplating what Hanna would have to do if she won. "I can't think of anything at the moment. I'll let you know when I win," she said playfully and shot her a wink. "And we can bet on that, I'm okay with it," she told her with a shrug. One little kiss wouldn't be so bad, would it? Hopefully not. She doubted that there was anyone at the bowling alley that would spread it back to her parents. As long as that was the case, she was fine with it.

“Everyone has seen Mean Girls, most guys just don’t admit it.” Mike was bad at keeping track of days but he guessed it was two or three days that he was out there. It actually wasn’t that long but it was still horrible. “It was two or three days. It doesn’t sound like long but trust me, it was the worse experience of my life.” As they pulled up to the house, Mike almost started laughing to the point where he would fall over. He had been here before with a few other football guys and there were things they did in this house that were some of the most hilarious moments ever.

Following Emily, Mike sighed and nodded. “Of course I am. Now if she asks how long we’ve been together what do I say? And is there anything I should know about her? Like what if I say something supper offensive and get kicked out or something?” He was often a worrier. Mike worried about pretty much everything to the point where he sometimes just had to take a seat and go back to sleep. “C’mon be more enthusiastic,” Mike said as he grabbed her hand and laced his fingers through hers as he leaned down to whisper to her “you’ve got yourself the best fake boyfriend in the universe. Nothing beats that.”

"Hmm.. Let's say two weeks?" Emily figured that'd be a decent enough answer. Not too serious, but not too sudden. "I don't think so. You'll be okay. Just keep in mind my family's pretty conservative," she said with a shrug. "But I'm sure she'll love you," she reassured him. Mike's words caused her lips to tug up into a genuine smile. That would work. She pulled him inside, kicking the door close and using her free hand to lock it. "Mom?" She called out, wanting to get this awkward first meeting over with as soon as possible. Her mom poked her head out from the kitchen, glancing at the two of them curiously. She instantly noticed their hands and held back a smile.

"One second Emily, just let me finish doing the dishes." As soon as she finished up and wiped her hands on a dish rag, she walked out to them and put on a polite smile. "You must be Mike," she held out her hand for him to shake. "I'm glad to finally meet you. Though I have to warn you, if you do anything to hurt my baby girl, you'll have to deal with me." Emily's cheeks instantly flushed. "Mom!"

Hanna smiled and crossed her leg over her other leg and sat back as she watched Emily take her turn. “Yeah yeah yeah, we’ll see.” Hanna smiled as she looked over Emily as the brunette had thrown the ball across the lane. The blonde frowned as she saw the brunette knock down all the pins. “Really? Really?!” Hanna smiled as she stood up and slapped Emilys butt as she picked up her ball then aligned herself as she aimed her ball towards the middle pin. She wanted to at least get one strike or get a spare. “How about we make this interesting?” She told the brunette as the blonde turned around and faced Emily to see what she was going to say.

Emily let out a surprised squeak when Hanna slapped her butt before laughing and shaking her head. "Yes?" She answered, shrugging and taking a seat in the chairs. Her head cocked to the side at Hanna's proposition. "Go on... How would we make this interesting?" She raised an eyebrow, wondering what exactly Hanna had in mind. But one thing she was sure of was that whatever Hanna had in mind would make things interesting. The blonde was always full of surprises and knew how to turn almost any situation fun, which Emily absolutely adored about her.

Emily actually seemed like a great person. Someone Mike could trust. He wouldn’t have been able to stand living with Finn and Kurt so he simply didn’t but after getting to know Emily he realized that this would work. Emily was nice and had what was best for him as a top priority. There wasn’t any ulterior motive. It was just one of the new girls being polite. Mike didn’t mind pretending to be her boyfriend. He would do it for anyone if it was that important to him and he considered Emily a friend that he owed a lot of things. Plus, what’s so hard about holding someones hand and sitting close to them?

Mike walked over and sat on the bench, tapping his foot lightly until Emily arrived. He let out a chuckle at the Mean Girls reference. “Of course Miss Regina George.” Mike replied with a smile as he got in the passengers side of the car. “No offense was taken. Mean Girls is secretly one of my favorite movies. Also thank you so much for letting me stay. Like it means the world to me.”

Emily grinned at his response to her greeting and nodded. "Good, I was worried you'd think I was insane or something," she admitted. "And the fact that you've watched Mean Girls, enjoyed it and understood that reference makes you the coolest guy I know," she told him. "It's no problem at all," she shrugged it off. "How long have you been staying in the park?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows in concern. She was sure that if she needed somewhere to stay she'd immediately head over to Hanna's, Spencer's or Aria's. She couldn't imagine what it was like sleeping out in the open, vulnerable to all the elements. The park wasn't far from house and she pulled up to her driveway in a matter of minutes. "Well, this is it." She gestured to her house once her car was parked and unbuckled her seatbelt, getting out of the car.

She walked with him up to her house and fished her keys out from her purse. "Ready to meet my mom? She's the only one home right now, my dad's away on call," she explained to him and as she unlocked the door and pushed it open. She held out her hand shyly, silently indicating for him to take it so they could start their little pretend boyfriend/girlfriend act for her mom.

Hanna watched as her ball rolled down the lane watching as it hit a few pins. The blonde smiled and cheered as she gave Emily a hug. “I think you should help me again.” Hanna spoke and smiled as she grabbed the ball and did what Emily helped her do like the last time. Hanna was really enjoying the closeness between them. Just the two of them out on a date bowling, which now the blonde was getting the hang of. “I bet you’re going to beat me.” Hanna spoke as she watched her ball roll down lane hitting two pins. “Dammit.” Hanna said as she looked over at Emily and smiled as she bit down on her lower lip, then walked back over and sat down, “Your turn.” She told the brunette and smiled watching to see how good of a bowler Emily was.

Emily chuckled and shrugged. "Maybe. Who knows? Maybe you'll have beginner's luck on your side," she said, giving Hanna a light nudge. "..Or not," she said playfully as her ball only knocked down two pins. "Don't worry, there's still more turns," she reassured her and nodded when she told her it was her turn. She walked over to machine that returned the balls to them and picked one up. She held the ball up, making sure the angle she threw it would be idea for knocking down most of the pins. Her face scrunched up in concentration as she stepped forward, releasing the ball once she did. She watched the ball roll down the lane, then hit all of the pins. She turned, shooting Hanna a bashful smile and a shrug.

Emily had barely talked to Mike, but he seemed like a good guy who definitely didn't deserve to be homeless for the time being. Her parents were pretty strict as well, but she couldn't imagine them not caring if she just upped and left. Besides, he was going to do her a favour too. She didn't like the thought of a 'beard' and hiding who she was to her parents, but at the same time she wasn't exactly ready to come out yet and with this new A on the loose, who knew what could happen. After her conversation with him, she found her mom in the kitchen and asked her if he could stay for a little while. There were a lot of questions her mom asked like 'why can't he stay at his own house?' and 'is there something going on with you and this boy?' -at that, her cheeks flushed but not for the reasons her mom had assumed- and a long lecture about the conditions of him staying, but it was a yes in the end.

She rushed out of the door and into her car, not wanting to keep Mike waiting any longer than she already had. She drove to the only park she knew of, hoping it was the right one. When she pulled up, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Mike sitting on one of the benches close to where her car is. She rolled down the window and smirked. "Get in loser, we're going home!" She called out to him, hoping Mike knew that she was quoting the movie Mean Girls and not actually calling him a loser. Hopefully it would get a laugh out of him, if he understood it. "Sorry," she apologized as he got into the car with a small shrug. "I've always wanted to do that."

Hanna sighed softly as she looked up at her name then looked over at Emily. Slowly she followed the brunette then took the ball from Emily. “Yes I know how to hold the ball.” She spoke and smiled as she took the ball and placed her three fingers in the hole and walked up to the lane. “Okay so I can’t cross the foul line?” She asked as she felt Emily come up behind her to help her out. Hanna hoped and prayed that her fingers wouldnt slip out of the ball and end up hitting Emilys foot. Walking carefully up to the lane, Hanna threw her ball down the lane and watched as her ball rolled down the lane.

Emily watched the ball roll down the lane until it hit half the pins on one side, leaving the other half standing. "That was good!" She nodded in approval and gave Hanna a hug from behind before handing her another ball. "Do you need help again? And if you hit the rest of the pins, you'll get a spare. Which is pretty good," she told her with a small smile. "I'll help you again just for good measure," she told her. It was half true, but she just liked being close to Hanna in all honesty. She slid her hand down to her wrist again and stepped with her, helping her throw the ball correctly.

I’m fine staying out here. You don’t have to let me stay in your house.

Okay. Well it was yesterday or the day before and I was just getting tired of being who my dad wanted me to be. I was tired of doing every single thing for him. Did you know I have the highest GPA or strongest upheld grades in all of the schools history? That all comes from my dad making me study day and night. He wants me to go to Harvard or some other fancy school and I don’t want to be a doctor or a lawyer or anything like that. I want to be a dancer. But I’ve always been afraid to dance outside of my room. Until I joined Glee club and I dance there all the time. But my dad doesn’t know. He thinks I go to Brainiac meetings and not Glee club. I don’t want him to find out that I dance. He’ll just do something bad. I know it. But I was getting sick of everything. So I was going to tell him about the fat that I want to be a dancer but I sorta chickened out and just ended up telling him that I was having problems with some math stuff and he said he was busy and that it needed to be important and I just went over my edge. So, I left and I’ve been at the park since. He hasn’t even tried to find me. After I left, I heard him lock the door. Almost like he wanted me gone. And I can’t help but feel guilty for leaving. My mom is probably worried sick but what my dad says goes and he’s probably against the idea of me coming back anytime soon so…now you know. Stupid isn’t it.

Whoa. Okay first of all, it's not stupid at all. How your dad is treating you though, is a whole other story. I know what it's like to be under the pressure of my parents, but not to the extent your dad is. If you're passionate about dancing and that's what you love to do, you should go for it. I'm so sorry that all this is happening to you, Mike. I can't even imagine how you must feel.. But please. Just let me help you, okay?

I don’t think you understand. You know that my dad hasn’t even come looking for me? That he’s probably been so busy with work that he just…hasn’t even noticed? I bet they think that I’m so great and nice that they didn’t even notice. You might as well put me in that danger because people would notice me then wouldn’t they? I wouldn’t just be that kid that lets other people throw him into some stereotype. They would actually know me and care.
