I didn’t make it to four days of exercise as I just Did. Not. Feel. Like. It. And I couldn’t push myself today. I had a bad nights sleep and I think for the first time I actually haven’t eaten enough as my calories have finished around the 1,400 mark. So I’m gonna try and get a workout in this weekend and continue to try and somehow learn how to drink water as this is definitely my downfall.
Today was 100% a success when it comes to the lunchtime workouts. I just need to learn how to change my frame of mind. I decided on a 30 minute cardio class that I’ve never done before. It was really good but some of the moves were a little complicated and I kept tripping up. Then I finished it 5 minutes early because it was just squats and lunges and after yesterday’s leg workout there’s no way I was putting in the expected effort 😅 so in my head I feel like I’ve failed because I didn’t do it all and didn’t master the moves, but in my heart I know I did damn well to realise yesterday my cardio isn’t great and try to change it with and exercise class 💪

I’m genuinely so proud of myself. It doesn’t look like much, but I did not want to exercise today. Gave myself a talking to that I made a commitment and decided to pop on a 20 minute banded lower body workout. Well, it turns out there was a lot of cardio and my cardio fitness is shot, so the fact I did everything and exercised when I didn’t want to is all the motivation I need 💪

My only tofu experience had been from a takeaway and I wasn’t that keen so gave it another go to give it a fair shot. I think it’s safe to say it’s not my favourite but I loved the noodles! Was a yummy satay kinda sauce 🤤
What do you do when you don’t want to work out and keep making excuses. Apparently for me the answer is put on your favourite galaxy print and do 10 minutes of abs and 10 minutes of Pilates 🤪

I quickly learned that exercising was the easy bit last week - perhaps the novelty of finding a new routine? Even so, I don't want to overwhelm myself and try to workout every day in case something happens/I need a rest. I think it's the drinking water aspect I really need to pay attention to as I very quickly lose track of the day if I'm not careful.
It’s turns out the thing I found hardest to do this week was drink water..? That’s certainly not the thing I thought I would struggle with! Working out has been really good fun and I’ve been good about tracking everything I eat.
Annoyingly, that’s where the universe steps in. So I’ve been eating 1,500 - 1,600 calories a day, spreading my exercise so it’s not all at one point in the day, and have had nothing but water and coffee to drink - apart from one glass of Coke on Friday as I needed some sugar - aaaaaand I lost 0.2 lbs. So yah, I was feeling deflated this morning. Then I realised it’s 0.2 lbs closer to my UGW so I’ve made progress, even if it’s small 😌
where do you get your recipes? or do you make your own? all your meal pics look delicious!
Hello Fresh! It works so much better for us as it saves us money and they’ve teamed up with WW so we can pick the low calorie ones. They are certainly yum we haven’t had a bad one in three months 😋💚

I’m so proud of myself. I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed since getting back to work and have let stress become too much in my life. So what did I do today? A 30 minute yoga and Pilates class to unwind instead of let it consume my afternoon 🧘♀️

🔴 Exercise every day (Tuesday - Friday)
🔴 Track food throughout the week
