It was an ordinary day, the Dream Team decided to take a break and not stream, just enjoy a relaxing day to themselves. Well, it started off relaxing. Sap was napping on one sofa, Patches curled up on his back, enjoying the soothing rise and fall of his breathing. Dream was scrolling through Twitter on his fanart account, and smiling as he watched his wonderful fans react to his attention. George, who was typically calm, was actually feeling giddy. He'd actually finished editing a video on his own a the pride was getting to him.
He strolled into the livingroom wearing one of Sapnapās red hoodies that he put on because "it was my laundry therefore I can wear it". In reality he'd done it knowing it would annoy Sap and make Dream laugh. He held his head high and strutted up to the blonde who was laid across the sofa on his back. "Guess what Dream. You'll never guess what I just did."
The man in the green t-shirt only hummed.
George, unsatisfied by this response put more effort into pestering his roommate "I saaaid guess what!" He sat on Dream's legs and bounced up and down. He giggled as the other grunted.
"You're heavy asshole, get off." Dream looked up from his phone, shoving at the older man.
George giggled and went limp, sprawling his dead weight across his friend. "Not till you answer me properly."
Dream groaned though he couldn't help but giggle a bit. "Fiiinnnneeee! What?"
"Chicken butt!" The ravenette laughed.
Dream growled "You're such an idiot George! Go away!"
The older man remained in his present position though he did roll over to look at Dream. "No, I don't think I will. You called me an idiot and idiots don't listen to people."
The blonde scoffed and huffed "Seriously!? Whatever. Stay there idiot. I don't care."
George hummed "I will. You're just gonna have to deal with it Dream"
"Whatever." He resumed scrolling.
Silence overcame the pair, letting Dream relax again. Admittedly having George on him reminded him of his weighted blanket and he started to take comfort in the presence. One of his hands started rubbing George's back.Ā
"What are you doing idiot?" George stirred from being lost in thought. Dream didn't answer, simply continuing the subconscious action. "Hey Dream~"Ā
"Yeah?"Ā
"What's brown and sticky?"
"What?" Dream giggled "What is wrong with you? I-I don't know what am supposed to say?"
"A stick"
Dream's smile fell. "You're an idiot. I hate you"
George giggled and hummed "What do call a cow with no legs?"
"A cow with no- What kind of question is that?" He smiled "I dunno what DO you call a cow with no legs?"Ā
"Ground beef"
Dream groaned "You're an idiot, get off you lost your cuddle privileges." Despite saying this he continued rubbing the other's back and made no attempt at moving him.
George pursed his lips as he thought again. "Knock knock"
"No"Ā
"Knock knock"
"Ugh, whatever, who's there?"
"Owls"
"Owls who?"
"That's right owls go whooo whooo" George cracked up.Ā
"You're literally so dumb, go edit your video idiot. I'm not gonna do it for you this time." Dream shook his head though he was smiling fondly.Ā
George glared "actually! I'm out here because I'm already DONE editing that video, thank you very much." He sassed and flicked Dream's nose.
"Ow! Idiot! There's NO way I'm gonna believe your lazy ass managed to finish already."
"Well you better believe it. I can show you. It's rendering right now idiot."
"I'm not getting up"
"Then you have to believe me. Sorry those are the rules." George blew a raspberry at Dream.
"Mmhm whatever you say idiot." The blonde rolled his eyes.
"If you don't believe go look."
"I'm not gonna go look."
"Because you know you're wrong"
"No~ because you're an idiot"Ā
"Knock Knock"
"Fine! Get up I'll go look."Ā
George shook his head. "If I'm right you have to listen to more of my jokes."
Dream giggled "no, your jokes suck now get off."
"No. You're just gonna have to lay here until you agree."Ā
"Oh. My god. George, you're an idiot. Now get off so I can see your stupid video."
"My video isn't stupid, just come look!"
"I said I'm going to look I'm just not taking your stupid bet- ow!" Dream rubbed the side of his head that had been whacked by a throw pillow. "What the hell Sap?"
"Just go look at his fuckin' video so he'll shut up! And give back my hoodie you British fuck" The youngest groaned as George stuck out his tongue.Ā
Dream scoffed "Oh my- whatever. Let's go see if your dumb video is rendering if it is I will listen to ONE more of your lame ass jokes."
George giggled and nodded "deal."
The pair got up from the sofa, neither appreciated the lack of warmth, and they walked down to George's room. A pink sign shaped like a crown with plastic gems that had "Nap Queen" written in blue paint hung on the door. The sign had been a gag gift from Dream but George was to lazy and found it too fitting to remove it.Ā
They entered the room and made their way over to the pc. Dream leaned down and looked at the editing software. Surely enough it was currently rendering out George's new video.Ā
Naturally the ravenette slapped the affectionate hand away and scoffed "See! I told you so! You owe me an apology."
"Not happening, now tell me your dumb joke so I can go back upstairs and lay down." He sat on the edge of George's bed.Ā
George glared at the younger. He wanted the blonde to pay for insulting his effort and not even being willing to apologize. He smirked and stepped closer to Dream as the perfect joke came to mind "Alright then, I see how it is"
Dream grew visibly anxious from George's body language "okay? Tell me the joke then. I don't have all day."
George bent down and rested his hands on Dream's thighs, keeping him from standing "Tell me Dream~ How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh~?"
The younger man stiffened. He'd heard this joke before, he knew the answer. Unfortunately, he also knew that glint in George's eyes meant he wouldn't be going anywhere until he answered. "Uhā¦ ehehe I-I don't know?" He tried.
"Take a guess~"
"W-Wellā¦ ah!" He squeaked as George's fingers began tapping their way up to his hips. "No! Geohohorge dohohont!"
"I'm not doing anything! I just need you to answer the question. How many tickles to make an octopus laugh?" He teased.
Dream turned deep red "G-GEHEHEORGE PLEHEHEASE!"
"I haven't done anythin'~ just answer and it'll be over."Ā
"T-Tehen! Tehehen"
"Ten what?"
"Nohoho!"
"Ten what~?"Ā
"Tehehen tihihickles" Dream covered his face and braced for the attack. He waited for seconds that felt like hours, giggling frantically as George's hands stayed put. He peeked out only to yelp as he was met by a devilish smirk and deep brown eyes
"That's right Dreamie! Ten Tickles!" He dug into Dream's sides, relishing in the giddy squeal the anticipation had earned him. "Aww but it looks like you only need one tickle to make you laugh Dream~ isn't that right idiot~? You're so tickle tickle tickle tickle ticklish!"
Dream wheeze and sank to the floor, trapping himself against the bed "Geheheorge FUHUHUCK ohohoff! Stahahap! Plehehease I'm *wheeze* I'm sahaharry!"
George pushed his friend's hoodie up and smirked "oooh! I found your belly Dream! It's right here! And here! And here!" With each 'here' he pinched and poked a new part of the blonde's exposed tummy.
"No! Nohoho George dohohont! You're SUHUHUCH ahahn ihihidiot! gehehet OHOHOFF wahahait DOHOHONT!" each time his belly was touched Dream was sent reeling in high pitched cackles.Ā
"You're much more obedient this way~ maybe I should tickle you more often~" George cooed.
Dream shook his head, tossing his already messy hair around. "Dohohont you DAAAAHAHARE! NAHAT THEHEHERE! *WHEEZE* STAHP STAHAHAP STAHP GEHEORGE *WHEEZE* PLEHEHEASE" his eyes clamped shut and his face was deep red with tears forming. His legs kicked out and he tried to push George away.Ā
George laughed, finally ceasing his attack so he could double over "ahahall that juhuhust for a lihihittle behelly button!?"
Dream curled up and panted, tugging his hoodie strings to hide his expression "I fuhuhucking hahahahate you!"
George giggled and rubbed his friend's back "no you don't."Ā
