I found this scouter on sale for $4 today and I am pleased.

My state received the worst flooding in a lifetime, resulting in over 1B in losses. I work for the local radio station in one of the hardest hit areas. I've been filling in as a news reporter in addition to my other jobs here for over a year because our previous news person quit and we've been unable to refill the position for a multitude of reasons.

When the flood hit, I was the news writer, the only social media manager, and the only website admin we had. I have b no disaster response training. I just did the best coverage I could for as long as I could.

I've now been working 11 days straight, and I've put in approximately 115 hours for no extra pay - I don't get overtime. Throughout all of this, I've also had diagnosed pneumonia. I had to be put on a "black box" antibiotic yesterday by my doctor.

I feel like I can't complain, though. None of the things I love were lost in the flood, and maybe my work helped prevent people from dying, or from panicking, or from believing the lies & rumors that glut our social media. Maybe I'm still helping them as they sort through the wreckage today, despite the bags under my eyes and the fact that I. Just. Need. Sleep.

This joke gets less funny the more I do it but then I discovered that Goku creepin’ is something I find absolutely hilarious, so let’s put some more miles on this one before I decide if I want to drive it off a cliff (well it’ll probably happen by accident anyway. I’m a cyclist, keep them cars away from me).

I was trying to do this one as a proper for-print page with full bleed and all that fancy stuff. Kinda curious to see how it would actually print, but printers shake me to my core and so I will probably never know.
