derek is a writer. lately his creativity has gone somewhere far away and he canāt seem to get it back.
heās chilling in the loft with stiles one day as they catch up. heās expressing his frustration at his lack of inspiration, starting with the simple sentence āiāve been in a rut lately.ā but stiles mishears him. he thinks he said āiāve been in rut lately,ā thinking alpha werewolf derek is in rut.
stilesā eyes widen as he stammers out, āuh, you need some help with that, big guy?ā derek nods appreciatively. help would be much needed. heād like to write another chapter this weekā
suddenly stiles kisses him out of nowhere, seemingly. but derek kisses back easily, and one thing leads to another, and itās only after a couple rounds of very enthusiastic sex that the miscommunication clears up between them with some red faces and bashful looks.
it doesnāt prevent them from going for another round or two, though.
and suddenly derek wakes up the next morning with lots of inspiration.

I present my newest podfic. šš For this one, I covered your fangs against my skin (the sound of your bones) by the absolutely amazing @hedwig221b! This one took awhile (my longest podfic so far). It finishes about two hours and twenty-five minutes but it took about twenty hours of editing! Ahhh!
I am so so proud of this one. I played around with music, sound blending, and vocal edits. I feel like this one really taught me a lot and hopefully shows the amount of love I have for this fic. This is one of my absolutely favorite fics and I cannot give it enough love. Witch!Stiles is soooo good! š¦“šāØļø
This podfic cover is influenced by the fact that hedwig is always posting moodboards for her fics so I thought it would be nice to do something similar. Ā
I haven't made fan art in years but Stiles felt Derek deserved a little special treat for fighting so hard.
Iāve read pretty much all your work and Iāve noticed that you love to dunk on four characters pretty frequently: Scott, Chris, Gerard, and Parrish. Iād love to see you rank these four from who you hate most to who you hate least and your reason for hating them. I can totally understand Scott, Chris, and Gerard as I hate them quite a bit myself, but Iād love to hear your thoughts on them.

I cannot forget Scottās take on the Hales dying and that maybe they deserved it. Like how am I supposed to root for this dude? I fully believe that if he didnāt become werewolf, he'd join the Argents and go torture werewolves with his gf, and his ass would believe it to be righteous
I don't hate Parrish, I swear, he's probably a good guy and a sheriff station's pass-around twink. It's just, after reading siand's Cut To The Bone, I loved the idea of bad Parrish so much that I integrated it into my own fics. It's a simple case of someone's phenomenal writing changing another writer's brain chemistry. Besides, he's a cop... I write him like I feel a cop would act. š¤·š¼āāļø Sorry to all Parrish lovers...

Derek hates humans
One of the things that Derek totally hates about humans is their tendencies to cheat. To werewolves mates are sacred. Once they find their other half they mate for life and devout every breath to keep a strong bond with their mate.
But humans? Derek has seen them cheating before, after and while getting mated. (-The word is "married", Derek. -Same thing)
He has seen them talk shit about their mates behind their backs and then act as if everything was ok. He's smelled the lovers around newlyweds. He's seen human mates hurting and killing each other on the morning News.
Humans are dishonest, disloyal, deceitful, unreliable. Even for their own kind.
Then why does he feel so safe around Stiles?
Why does he feel that he can trust him?
Why does he want to mate this human?
I love Derekās aversion to technology so much. Like when Stiles asks Scott āHas Derek ever returned your texts?ā, and Scott is like āOnce. Definitely once.ā
I imagine Derek getting a text from Scott and being like āUgh. What is he texting me for. The idiot. Just howl, Iāll hear you. Iāll be there in five minutes. Iām not answering this.ā
Established Sterek would be the most clingy and awkward couple to ever exist.
The poor pack now has to deal with double sarcasm, sass, irony and bad decisions.
They all would be in a pack meeting discussing their new fae enemy, just for Stiles and Derek to look at each other eyes for a whole minute without even blinking and then leave the room without explanation.
By the time the pack comes out with a plan and drives to the fae nest, the only thing left is fae black goo. A text to Stiles later and now they know why they left earlier.
"Sorry Scotty but it was takin 2 much and Derek and I were in the middle of a My Little Pony marathon. A few moody flies are not worthy ignoring Twilight Sparkle dude"
