An underrated scene that I love and don’t see a lot of people talking about:
Elain warning Feyre so that Tamlin couldn’t grab to take her to Spring Court.
Something I urgently need to see in the new Shatter Me spinoff is Juliette showing up to save everyone during a very intense action scene.
Maybe not in Escape Me, since I'm pretty sure she'll be giving birth then and recovering, but at some point down the line.
Imagine how cool that would be. She had over a decade to work on her special abilities. How strong is she at this point? Imagine everyone struggling to fight the reestablishment only for her to show up out of nowhere uninvited and murder everyone without breaking a sweat.
I love you Elain Archeron.
I can’t wait to read your story. 🌸🩷💙

Did someone say Elriel mafia?
the best part about being an elriel is we don’t have to bend over backwards and ignore 90% of the books and the authors words to justify why our ship makes sense.
it’s literally just… in the books.
I think one of my favorite pieces of Elriel foreshadowing is that post-ACOTAR Elain and Azriel are constantly being associated with each other.
Legitimately about 70% of the time Elain is discussed in the last 4 books Azriel is somehow woven in. Sometimes he is physically with her, sometimes it is simply an association, sometimes he is reacting to the mention of her name. But truly if you go search Elain's name in any of these books, chances are Azriel's name is not far behind.
It was one of the first things I noticed about this pair, and honestly what started their ship for me. Because that constant association is not just incredibly intentional by the writer, but it is also kind of hard to do. SJM put in work to bring up Azriel whenever Elain is mentioned and vice versa. And ironically there is no better example of this then in Silver Flames (the anti's favorite book) Elain barely shows up in Silver Flames, yet nearly every time we see her on page, low and behold there is Azriel. It's almost like that was the point all along.
hey so it’s march now aka the beginning of endometriosis awareness month and i feel obligated to remind you that debilitatingly painful periods are not normal. if you or someone you know is ending up sick or bedridden every month, you are not crazy and deserve medical attention from someone who will take you seriously
hey it’s march again let’s get this post circulating again
elain archeron in the next acotar book:
if magic was real I'd get really into wizardry long enough to learn like 3 spells then move on and 4 years later id be like oh yeah I remember how to summon flame. probably. and then id do all the hand motions out of order and explode
The yearning we are in for with an Elriel book. The mutual pining. Give it to me now.
I've tasted being an academic weapon and an academic victim and i recommend not being born
Four Things that I’m 99.9% sure about when it comes to ACOTAR 6:
1. It’s Elain’s book.
2. Elain is rejecting or unmaking the mating bond.
3. There will be a Blood Duel.
4. Elain is going to choose Azriel.
And why am I so confident?
The books have set all of this up. It’s “obvious.”
people talk about how we need to bring back "don't feed the trolls" rhetoric for modern internet ragebait and I agree but also I think the most useful thing from the Old Internet that I miss is LURKING
be a lurker. just read things and think about them without feeling the need to weigh in or call out or disseminate everything you encounter. it's so nice and so freeing and it's a good way to learn things.
I have frequently regretted getting involved in shit that didn't involve me online but you know what I've never regretted doing? Lurking. literally lurk moar
“Give us more complex characters.”
Nah, y’all couldn’t handle Elain Archeron.
