“However, I’ve learned that the heart can’t be told when and who and how it should love. The heart does whatever the hell it wants to do. The only thing we can control is whether we give our lives and our minds the chance to catch up to our hearts.”
— Colleen Hoover, Maybe Someday
“I want to look back and say that I was alive. That I didn’t turn my back. That I tried. That I was happy.”
— Evelyn Waugh, Brideshead Revisited
Remember to take a moment and love little bits about yourself. That roll on your stomach is perfectly normal and having a flat stomach does not mean you’re healthy. Those stretch marks that run along your hips and arms are proof that you’ve grown. Those scars, no matter where they fall upon your skin, show that you are a survivor and that you can overcome these things. That gap between your teeth? A wonderful addition to your smile. Those eyes mismatching in color? They’re unique and beautiful. The callouses on your hands? They have character matching only to you. Love little things about yourself and, one by one, they’ll let you know that you’re fine just the way you are.

“Everything’s a risk. Not doing anything is a risk. It’s up to you.”
— Nicola Yoon, Everything, Everything
“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who are alive.”
— Howard Thurman
“Be with someone who will take care of you. Not materialistically, but take care of your soul, your well being, your heart.”
— Unknown
“Never make fun of someone’s passion because that’s the thing that saves them from the world.”

When Mr. Darcy said “I would have to tell you that you have bewitched me, body and sould, and I love... I love... I love you. I never wished to be parted from you from this day on.” and when Simon Hastings said “I am yours Daphne. I have always been yours.” and when Daphne Bridgerton said “It is you I cannot sacrifice. I burn... for you.” I felt that
“Just being there for someone can sometimes bring hope when all seems hopeless.”
— Dave G. Llewellyn
“To love a person is to see all of their magic, and to remind them of it when they have forgotten.”
— Unknown
“I don’t pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me. Love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person. Love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of. Love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you.”
— The O.C.
“Fall in love with someone who’s comfortable with your silence. Find someone who doesn’t need your words to know it’s time to kiss you.”
— Clairabelle Ann
“Superpowers you can have: - Ability to change yourself & your mind - Not taking things personally - Not needing to prove you’re right - Careful selection of all relationships - Staying calm - Being alone without being lonely - Being ok being uncomfortable - Thinking for oneself”
— Shane Parrish
