So I work(ed) at the place America runs on. And I'm just gonna let everyone know to be careful about what you order. In every restaurant in my district the cooler/freezers were ten degrees OVER the safety zone, the coolatta machine was covered in mold and the pull out coolers broke every other day. And through all of this the district manager thought it was fine because "The laws about those things change all the time." Which is why I quit. Just be careful people, I don't want you to get sick.
The other night my manager got a phone call from some women who wanted to know when the store closed, she told the women we close at 9pm (it was currently 9:10pm) and the women got all mad and said "Well if you're closed it would be nice if you turned your damn lights off! I've been out here for 8 minutes knocking!!" my manager told her "Well Ma'am I have workers still cleaning and I can't make them clean in the dark, can I?" and hung up on her lmao
Right there, she lays out my insecurities on the floor, kneels before them and plant kisses on each of them. Then she turns to me with a gentle smile on her lips and says, “Now that I have started to love the parts that you loathe most, will you let me love all of you?”

There is always another story to someone’s seemingly “annoying” and “obnoxious” behavior.
Girl Was Bullied Mercilessly In School Until She Did This
Earlier this year my sister was looking for a grad dress. We happened to be in a bigger city one weekend and she had done some research as to what stores had lots of grad dresses and stuff, and so we found one and knew that it opened at 10. She and her friend and I went to go browse the store in the mall while our parents were off doing other things. When we go in, there is an angry family at the counter, a dad and a son and a daughter it looks like. The man is asking for a refund and being pretty rude about it; the woman behind the counter is being quiet and calm and trying to get them to leave. Of course it doesn’t work. They get louder and louder, and when she tries to walk away to ask us how we are doing (there are no other people in the store, it just opened) the dad and son are following her, screaming in her face “GIVE US A REFUND! THE DRESS IS NOT WHAT WE ORDERED! THIS IS CRIMINAL! I’M FILMING THIS, IT’S GOING ON YOUTUBE AND YOU’RE GOING TO BE RUINED!” we gave her sympathetic smiles and tried to quietly browse the rest of the store and they continued to FOLLOW HER AROUND, screaming at her and filming her. Eventually she goes behind the counter to call her manager or something, and they continue to scream (I wish I was exaggerating, they were very loud and aggressive and getting in her face and still filming) at her. Eventually she politely comes over and asks us to leave the store, we of course do so politely and give her more sympathetic looks and I think some apologies. She shuts the doors behind us and locks them (she could not get the other customers to leave). Having nothing else to do that day besides drive home, we waited outside on some benches and relayed the story to our parents when they showed up. Eventually the manager shows up, talks them down, calls security, and security ends up telling them they must leave the store and the security guard sticks around after they leave. They tried telling us “don’t shop here, they’re thieves! It’s a really bad store!” and I said something along the lines of “oh, okay” calmly, not really caring what this angry father thought. We went back in and tried on a few dresses, and everything was calm and quiet and the woman working was very helpful (and she looked very grateful). Later found out that the people had in fact got the dress they ordered, and I guess thought that by bitching and screaming they could get a refund because they ended up not liking it?
Two receipts print out. Customer reaches over to grab both of them. No you impatient bitch, one of those is mine, just WAIT, goddamnit and I will hand it to you.

you can’t have it both ways
We once had an electrical fire in the back, the electrician was badly burned and there was a lot of smoke, and of course we had to clear the building. We didn’t lock one of the outside doors, to make it easier for the firemen and to help get the injured electrician out quicker, and instead had someone stand at the door to explain that we weren’t actually open.
OF COURSE, someone just HAD TO GET SOMETHING. When the girl at the door explained that we’d had an accident and absolutely could not let her in, she goes ‘Well, that’s not my problem, I need whatthefuckever.“
For the record, this was a craft store, and there’s nothing in there that you NEED. Priorities, people, get ‘em straight.
