I was willing to forgive you
For him. The man who raised me in his elder years, the man whose loss caused flood after flood of tears.
You made an offer to good to refuse. And then when you realized I would take you up on it, you panicked, you no longer cared about me or my budding family only your own desires, something he had taught me came second to the needs of family.
And if it had just been a change of mind, I could've handled that.
But you flipped it on me, telling me you didn't know we where serious, going to take you up on it, and as far as you knew we weren't going to.
We'd talked about this for over a month.
And when you realized that we called your bluff, you tried to pin it back on us.
It turns out we're not the only ones you've burned. You're running out of bridges and not everyone will be willing to rebuild with an arsonist.
I feel foolish and scared. My child is due to arrive and the plans we've made to help us survive have gone asunder.
I will do what I must, while you do what you please, in the end I hope you choke on your needs.
