"you’re going to have to lead these people when i’m gone, oly.” she knew her friend, who she’d become incredibly close with, didn’t like when she talked like this. alicia’s group was small, but it was a group, nonetheless -- the people would need to be shown the way, even if places like padre (a simple rumor over the walkie-talkies of a safe sanctuary) didn’t exist. she was going to make olympia a list of people she could trust, and people she couldn’t. dwight and sherry had just joined them; the couple was obviously trustworthy, alicia had known the couple for quite a while, now. victor strand? not trustworthy. not even in the slightest.  “that man i introduced you to, morgan jones, he can help you. i used to be with his group until i got separated from them.” she sighs, thinking of those who she hadn’t seen in a long time. charlie. “he’s good. smart. i’d listen to whatever advice he has to give you.”

“nick?” alicia has to be dead because how else would her brother be here? maybe it’s another fever dream, maybe he would be the one to lead her to padre; but she was beginning to think that padre was just made up after all, to give the survivors some semblance of hope.     “i think i’m dead, nick.” nothing’s changed, not really. her arm is still missing. “i have to take the tower. they’re going to die if i don’t.”
