So many things happening every day and I'm getting home late and tired, but full of joy and anticipation about the studio move. Tomorrow I am picking up shelves that were custom cut for us at a local timberyard and collecting a large Belfast sink that conveniently came up on gumtree just yesterday. Feeling really grateful that everything is coming along nicely. Still tempted to rip that lino off the floor and reveal the beautiful wooden floor (see my stories today to see how it looks). I can't believe it's already end of August and @potfest.co.uk is only four weeks away. Normally I would have just been wrapping up Fringe @westendfair, but this year has been turned upside down, hasn't it? Edinburgh without Fringe was very unusual. Unloaded the kiln today with @kjastudio. It's always so much fun doing it with studio colleagues. Getting first items for @potfest.co.uk through the kiln feels very good and it's finally sinking in that in about a month we will be selling and exhibiting at Scone Palace. @kjastudio will be there too! New batch of large cups coming out of the kiln tomorrow. I am so excited to have a bunch of them finished after months, the last time I made them was in February. Seems like ages ago. These are for an order and a few of them are for Potfest. I know I said I will do a shop update at the end of the month, but some exciting new stuff came up and I think the next shop update will be in October after Potfest.
