i also write from Hazbin ! yep :) i'm a certified RadioApple shipper and have plenty of that on my ao3.

The Avengers 2012 era was the best time ever in the fandom

Thor loves pop tarts, Clint lived in the vents, Bruce and Tony did science together, Steve was the mom friend of the team and did art in his free time, Natasha was cool aunt of the team, Loki was there too and a bunch of other characters like Peter, Sam, Bucky, Vision and Wanda all lived in the Avengers tower together

It was a much simpler time where everyone in the fandom was chill and having fun together

My therapist just told me my problem is that I need to write more fanfiction.

This sounds fake but the logic behind it is actually really interesting? She said obsession with a new fandom triggers quick dopamine release when we consume all this related content--it's easy and addictive.

What we're NOT getting is that 'slow dopamine' that's more sustainable and engaging. That's the kind we get from DOING things that take effort but are ultimately rewarding.

So like, she suggested that writing fic and making fanart are ways to balance the quick dopamine of watching a show/reading fic with the slow dopamine of working at something that takes effort.

Moral of the story is you should engage in the process of creation around your favorite things. You'll feel better for it.

their first kiss is an accident.

eddie had been leaning in to whisper something to steve, but steve had turned his head and their lips had met.

it's a kiss only in technicality; lips touching lips.

they're friends, any feelings between them strictly platonic. steve gave up on dating after vecna, decided he wasn't actually ready for a romantic relationship. he doesn't know if eddie dates at all.

but he can't stop thinking about what eddie's lips had felt like against his, how soft the touch had been, how his lips still tingled after eddie withdrew.

at the time, they had laughed it off.

their second kiss comes a week later.

steve has been staring at eddie's lips increasingly often, more aware of them than ever before. he knows eddie has caught him looking more than once.

so when they're alone, and there's a pause in the conversation, and steve has been staring, and eddie has caught him...

it's hard to tell who leaned in first. but this kiss is much better than the first one.

maybe those feelings weren't so platonic after all.

‘How was the match?’ Eddie asks, more because he loves his uncle than because he actually give a single shit about the answer.

Wayne knows that, of course, so he doesn’t give much of an answer. 'You don’t have to pretend like you care 'bout that,’ he says instead. 'Got somethin’ for ya.’

He drops a folded piece of paper on Eddie’s chest; Eddie, who is lying lazily on the worn-out couch, frowns as he folds it open, only to find a phone number scribbled down on it.

'What’s this?’ he asks, lifting his head slightly so he can look at Wayne, who is rummaging around in the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee.

'I met a real nice fella at the game,’ Wayne says. 'He was wearin’ lipgloss, so I figured he’d probably be gay. Got his number for ya.’

Eddie shuffles himself in an upright sitting position, staring at Wayne with his jaw dropped. His uncle is looking particularly pleased with himself, and Eddie almost can’t bring himself to say what he’s about to say.

'Dude,’ he starts, 'You can’t do that, man.’

The excitement disappears from Wayne’s face when he hears the tone of Eddie’s voice.

'What do you mean?’

'You can’t just go around asking random dudes’ numbers on my behalf, man!’

I see so many posts about Eddie being a cat dad but I can't stop imagining him with a bird. He'd found it abandoned and sick as a baby and nursed it back to health, but when he tried to release him, he just kept coming back to Eddie. The third time the bird came back, Eddie sighed and shook his head. "Guess I'm a teen dad." They've been inseparable since. Everywhere he goes, the bird goes along with him; completely content to sit on his shoulder and peck at his shiny earrings.

During hellfire, he sits on a perch next to Eddie and is dubbed 'Dungeon Master in training'. Whenever Eddie wants to annoy the kids, he leans over to whisper to the bird and says it was his bird's idea to introduce the dragon that kills Dustin's character.

The bird doesn't like Steve. He pecks at Steve's fingers and screeches rather loudly whenever Steve tries to lean in and kiss Eddie. Sometimes, he will let Steve pet him, giving him false hope that they've become friends before the bird proceeds to chase Steve around his own house while Eddie cackles. "I think he's starting to like you."

The only other person the bird likes is Wayne. He likes to sit perched on Wayne's shoulder while the older man drinks a beer and watches whatever sport he's into at that moment. Wayne refuses to call the bird his grandson, but that doesn't stop him from spoiling the little thing rotten.

Single dad Steve and his daughter own a flower shop and on the weekends his daughter, who is 7, helps him out during the day. Steve teaches her how to make bouquets when it's quiet and when it's busy, he has her stand next to him at the counter and say, 'Have a good day' to everyone as they leave. The little old ladies always give her sweets and tell Steve what a good dad he is.

Eddie's a regular and he comes in every week for the same order. Steve has no idea what he does with the giant bouquet of flowers, he just knows that Eddie really loves yellow flowers, especially marigolds and sunflowers. The fact Steve wears yellow on the days Eddie is due to come in is completely unrelated. When Eddie enters noisily into the shop, he bows dramatically to Steve's daughter and hands her a flower he picked on his way there. "For the flower princess." He says with a wink.

"And for the flower king." He hands Steve a pathetic little bouquet of flowers with a cheesy grin. "I know it's not as beautiful as yours, but I saw them and thought of you."

Steve takes the bouquet from Eddie's shaky hands and gives him a soft smile. "They're beautiful. Thank you, Eddie." He doesn't have the heart to tell him that they're actually weeds.

Steve does incredibly cheesy cringey shit like flowers, chocolate boxes or taking you out to extremely romantic places.

Eddie is equally cringey as he jumps on tables, does way too public declarations of love and dedicates songs.

And y’all are surprised these two are a good match?

I think they’re destined to be together until they kill each other with embarrassment - like a perfect Shakespeare’s dramatic play.

Or they get killed by their friends because they’re too embarrassed by them.

Which, I mean, it’s kinda fair.
